TEEN Mom 2 alum Jenelle Evans introduced her new kitten with a unique name. The kitten is her family's latest pet after the ex reality star's husband David Eason shot and killed their family dog Nugget.

Refer to CaptionJenelle has defended David's actions numerous times '/caption ' The 29-year-old took to her Instagram Story on Wednesday to share clips of herself cuddling with the adorable kitten. Alongside the videos, Jenelle wrote: "This is Mr. Fluffers and he likes to sit on my shoulders and lean into my head." In another clip, the former MTV star shared that the kitten "licks like a dog." Mr. Fluffers joined the family despite Jenelle and David's rough history with the pets in the past. CONTROVERSIAL PAST Back in 2019, Jenelle and David were famously fired from Teen Mom 2 after the 33-year-old killed their family dog. The controversial pair later claimed in a YouTube video that the show's production team were afraid to work with David and would ask not film at their house. "Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season.... Jenelle also reflected on the controversy while appearing on an episode of Candace in May. JENELLE'S SIDE OF THE STORY The former Teen Mom 2 star recounted the incident to host Candace Owens, stating: ...So basically, it was me, my daughter and my other two kids and David and we were all sitting in the living room and you know, my daughter and the dog were having like a cute little moment. ...So David started filming from far away and then all of a sudden she went to go give the dog a hug and the dog like bit her on the face, almost in the eye.... Jenelle continued: ...Then, after that happened, you know, the way David was raised, he took the dog outside and took care of it himself. ...My kids were inside the house at the time... 'They ' did not see anything, did not hear anything. ...David didn't announce what he was doing or anything.... DEFENDING DAVID Candace then asked Jenelle what she meant by saying David was ...raised... that way, with the former MTV star explaining: ...He's very country. ...I was raised in Pennsylvania, and then he was born and raised in the South. ...So like if a dog was aggressive, they would put it down themselves. ...And David said, you know, if I took the dog to the humane society, they probably would've done the same thing because of the aggression.... Later in the conversation, Jenelle revealed that David has thought a lot about the incident and has ...apologized so much.... Nugget's tragic death isn't the only controversy David has had with their pets, as he more recently documented himself eating their pet goat Elvis after killing the animal. Jenelle and David share four-year-old daughter Ensley, while she is also the mother to 11-year-old son Jace and seven-year-old son Kaiser.
