On the final night of America's Got Talent quarterfinal Live Shows, Howie Mandel was in charge of the last Live Golden Buzzer of the season. But Howie was determined not to award the Golden Buzzer lightly, but to find an act that really stepped up its performance from its audition.
The night wasn't going well for Howie. It wasn't until the penultimate act, Team Recycled, a dance troupe from Germany, that he had hope.
Team Recycled returned to AGT with a mission: to prove to Mel B that its act is not boring. During its audition, Mel B had been the dissenter telling Team Recycled that its choreography was boring.

Team Recycled is a dance crew based in Berlin, Germany with members from many nations.
"This is our passion but we all have day jobs," says the group's spokesperson. "We have fitness instructors, teachers, film makers, students and even a lawyer."
He went on to say that being a hardcore millennial, he loves The Spice Girls, so when Mel B made her comment, his feelings were hurt.
Before taking the stage, he added, "We need to step it up from last time. We have to think out of the box. We want to put everything on the table that we have. We want to prove Mel B wrong. We can win this."

And that's just what Team Recycle did. They brought an energetic, visually stunning dance routine to the stage.

"Tonight was kind of disappointing because I was looking for an act that would step it up," Howie said when critiquing the performance. "I was looking for an act that could possibly win this whole thing. Nobody has been able to step it up and I said to myself, 'Can they do it?' And the answer is yes."
With that, he pressed the Golden Buzzer making a dream come true for Team Recycled which has been 15 years in the making.
America's Got Talent airs Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Tune in tomorrow to find out which three acts America voted through to the semifinals, which start on Sept. 16.
