Vanessa Hudgens Bares It All In Sheer Moschino Dress At Met Gala

Vanessa Hudgens co-hosted the Met Gala Red Carpet live stream in a sheer black Moschino dress. The actress missed the theme - In America: An anthology of Fashion - by a long mark, but she looked beautiful, so we can excuse her. This marks Hudgens' second consecutive red carpet hosting this year, as she hosted the Oscars red carpet in March. Her hosting gigs have been successful so far, and she does a great job of making guests feel comfortable on the carpet.

Baring It All In Moschino

Hudgens wore a sheer black chiffon Moschino dress leaving little to the imagination as it exposed her underwear and had a fancy embroidery on the bodice mimicking a lace bra. Her gown had a long flowing train, and she stood tall in a six-inch Jimmy Choo stiletto heel to add more pizazz to her already dramatic outfit. Hudgens styled her hair in a fancy top knot bun and accessorized the look with long drop diamond earrings.

A Gothic Take On Gilded Glamour

Jeremy Scott custom-made the dress for Hudgens, and he christened it Gothic Gilded Glamour. If it had a lining or bustle like Katy Perry's dress, she would've sold the black widow idea. Last Monday marked Hudgens' return to the Gala since 2015, making it her second ever. Hudgens' first MET Gala outing was seven years ago, and she nailed the theme China: Through the Looking Glass, wearing a red H&M dress.

On Her Way To The Pre-MET Party

After attending the pre-event hosted by Anna Wintour, she dressed to the nines on her way to dress for the red carpet show. She arrived at The Mark Hotel in a skintight black cutout Oscar de la Renta dress with a white diamond detailing on the hemline of the cutout framing her smooth skin. She paired the outfit with a long curly hair reaching her shoulders and nude makeup.

She paired the figure-hugging satin dress with another six-inch stiletto heels and a plaid bucket purse.

What Goes On Inside The Met Museum?

On Sunday, she added an oversized blazer for the Pre-Met Gala party, joining James Corden, Blake Lively, and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and other stars. The next day at the main event, pictures of Hudgens having fun inside the Met Museum with Kerry Washington surfaced. It gave fans a unique look at what goes down inside the museum.

Porsha revealed in an exclusive interview with Bravo Insider subscribers that her and Simon's wedding plans are ongoing. The lovebirds are planning three separate ceremonies around the world.

"So much to plan and, so far, I'm just trying to settle on a date," Porsha said.

She added, "I am marrying an amazing Nigerian man, honey. It is not going to be intimate. It is going to be huge probably. It's gonna be big, but I want it to have an intimate feel."

Support From Groom-To-Be

Simon, the future groom, voiced his support for his bride's fantasy wedding preparations in an Instagram post.

The Philadelphia 76ers avoided an embarrassing playoff collapse against the Toronto Raptors after closing out the series in six games.

However, the feat came at a cost as star big man Joel Embiid suffered a right orbital fracture and a mild concussion. Embiid will miss some time, but he's eyeing a quick return.

Joel Embiid Is Dealing With Orbital Fracture And Mild Concussion

The 76ers moved past the Raptors after a strong showing in Game 6, but it featured Embiid suffering another disappointing injury.

Late in the fourth quarter, the star big man received an inadvertent elbow from Pascal Siakam as he drove to the basket. Embiid stayed in the game, but he suffered an orbital fracture and mild concussion that will keep him out for at least two games.

As the 76ers prepare to play the Miami Heat, Embiid has a message for his teammates.

Joel Embiid Is Hoping to Return Soon From Injuries

The 76ers are faced with the challenge of competing in at least the first two games of the series against the Heat without the MVP candidate.

During Ramona Shelburne's appearance on ESPN's NBA Today on Monday, she provided an injury update for Embiid, detailing that he is still dealing with some concussion-like symptoms in relation to his sensitivity to light.

She also stated that the All-Star big man needs to clear other hurdles, such as building his cardio again and going through shooting drills before he can receive clearance to play. At the same time, Shelburne revealed Embiid's lone message to his teammates.

"His main message was 'I just need my guys to give a chance to come back," Shelburne said.

Embiid remains optimistic about an early return, but that entire process is out of his hands. He can only hope that his team can right the ship and keep the series competitive until he returns.

76ers Have Tough Task Ahead Against The Heat

Although the Heat are dealing with injuries regarding Kyle Lowry's ailing hamstring, the team has the pieces to make a deep playoff push.

Embiid's absence could open the door for Miami to be more effective in scoring in the paint. Bam Adebayo may become a bigger component of the offense, while Jimmy Butler should have the ball more in his hands with Lowry hampered.

All that sways the early outlook toward the Heat's favor, and beyond that, more scrutiny and pressure on Harden's performance.

James Harden Must Step Up

Embiid's absence through at least the first two games of the series is a significant blow, but more importantly, it puts more pressure on James Harden to lead the charge.

The 76ers acquired Harden, expecting he would be a huge offensive factor as a playmaker with his scoring and passing. He's showcased the latter in the playoffs, averaging 10.2 assists per contest in the six games played in the first-round series against the Raptors.

However, his scoring woes from the regular season have bled over into the playoffs. He averaged 19.0 points on 41.1% shooting against Toronto, including shooting below 37% from the floor four times.

Harden holds the bulk of the responsibility to carry the 76ers, while supplementary talent such as Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris need to be massive factors if Philadelphia has any chance against Miami with Emibid sidelined.

Nigerian musician Burna Boy returned for his second appearance on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah since first featuring in 2019. With a lot happening since then both personally and globally, the two of them caught up.

Burna: Africa To The World

Burna Boy, officially known as Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu began his rise to stardom from humble beginnings back home in Nigeria with the release of 'Like to Party' in 2012 from his debut studio album L.I.F.E. He later earned a deal with Atlantic Records in the USA and Warner Music Group for the international market. This built the platform from which Burna would shoot for the stars.

This came into effect in 2019 with the release of his fourth studio album African Giant, which saw him get international praise and the achievements of this were evident through the recognition it got from award ceremonies. It won him Album of the Year at the 2019 All Africa Music Awards, a nomination for Best World Music Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards and most especially, a debut appearance on The Daily Show in 2019.

'Twice As Tall' Story

During his second and most recent feature, Trevor and Burna discussed about the story of Twice as Tall, the hitmakers fifth album that was entirely recorded via zoom due to the enforced lockdown when the coronavirus was at peak spread.

Confessing that it wasn't easy and that one never knows how it's going to turn out, but the trust he had in the skills of those who participated was well placed as the album reached new heights, not only earning him another nomination for Best World Music Album at the 63rd Grammy Awards --- making him the first Nigerian with back-to-back nominations at the Grammys --- but going on to win the award.

Burna then became the first African to headline and sell out a concert at Madison Square Gardens.

Being Naija

Noah and Burna teased and made remarks about their shared African origins and spoke in detail about how Nigerians countered most Africans tendency to a timid approach to life. The musician then advised that when things are going well for you, you should own it and be proud of it.

He also spoke of being managed by his mother, Mama Burna, and how her "good food" helps him through it. Adding that as invested as African mothers are, she finds a way to make decisions by tricking Burna into thinking they're his.

Tease For Next Album: 'Love, Damini'

Before the segment ended, Trevor asked the star for more information on his next album 'Love, Damini' and after careful deliberation, Burna said he wouldn't let Trevor down "in front of all these people".
