| Kris Jenner Reacts to Blac Chyna Defamation Verdict at the Met Gala Posted: 02 May 2022 07:30 PM PDT  A big relief. The Kardashian-Jenner family got a verdict in their defamation case with Blac Chyna just as the 2022 Met Gala was getting started — and Kris Jenner shared her thoughts while walking the red carpet. “I’m just glad it’s over,” the momager, 66, told Entertainment Tonight when she arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday, May 2. The entrepreneur attended the event with her boyfriend, Corey Gamble, and all five of her daughters: Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner. Earlier in the evening, a judge ruled to dismiss the case and said Chyna, 33, will not be awarded any damages. The model filed the lawsuit against the family in 2017 after the cancellation of her former reality show, Rob & Chyna, which followed her life with ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian. During the trial, Kris, Kim, 41, Khloé, 37, and Kylie, 24, all took the stand to testify about the alleged abuse in Rob, 35, and Chyna's relationship. The duo, who split in 2017, share daughter Dream, 5.  The Kardashians’ attorney Michael G. Rhodes attempted to have the case dismissed last month, but a judge ruled that the case could proceed. Rhodes argued that the Lashed Cosmetics founder provided "no documentary evidence, economic analysis, or expert testimony" that merited the case going forward. "Before trial began, these claims were absurd," the lawyer wrote in April. "Now that [Chyna] has testified in her entirety, and has no additional testimony or evidence to offer on her damages, Defendants respectfully submit that entering such an instruction would be a vastly inadequate remedy.” Days later, Us Weekly confirmed that Kim was found not guilty of defaming Chyna, whose real name is Angela White. According to legal documents, the judge ruled that there was no evidence that anything the Skims founder said was "alleged to be defamatory" against the beauty entrepreneur. The Selfish author previously testified in court that she did not recall specific details about the cancellation of Rob & Chyna, which aired for one season in 2016. During the trial, Kim’s thoughts about Chyna joining Keeping Up With the Kardashians were addressed via text messages she’d sent about her brother’s then-fiancé. "Chyna can never be on her show," read one text sent by the KKW Beauty founder. In court, Kim clarified that she meant to say “our show,” noting that she often voice-dictates her texts which could have led to the mixup. Khloé, for her part, said that the family just wanted to protect Rob. “We were all considering not being a part of such toxicity,” she explained. |

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz are two of young Hollywood’s brightest stars, so it’s no surprise that their relationship has been full of sparks from the moment it started. The pair, who began dating in October 2019, got serious fast, making their relationship Instagram official in January 2020 and getting engaged less than a year into their romance. "Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes,” the photographer wrote via Instagram in July 2020 after popping the question. “I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day The model’s famous parents, Victoria Beckham and David Beckham, are super supportive of their eldest son’s relationship and are huge fans of their future daughter-in-law. "[Nicola] is just wonderful," the former Spice Girls member said during a December 2020 appearance on the talk show Lorraine. "She's sweet, she's kind, she's such a lovely, warm, wonderful, wonderful woman. We couldn't have asked for Brooklyn to meet a more adorable, lovely lady. We are very happy. We love her. He's so happy." After news of the duo’s engagement broke in 2020, both of Brooklyn’s parents took to Instagram to wish the couple well. "The MOST exciting news!! Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble‘s low-key romance has continued to grow since they first went public with their relationship. In 2014, Jenner and Gamble sparked dating rumors after they met in Ibiza during a party thrown by Kim Kardashian‘s then-husband, Kanye West. Following the outing, the couple continued to be photographed spending time together. Jenner and Gamble later took a major step in their relationship when he appeared on Keeping Up With the Kardashians in March 2015. Amid their growing connection, the momager revealed that she wasn’t planning to reach certain milestones with her man. “You know, you never say never, but I often say it's just not what I think I need to do again based on my past,” she explained of getting married on the “Divorce Sucks with Laura Wasser” podcast in September 2018. “I'm in a really great relationship right now, and I'm happy and I don't want to mess that up.” Jenner’s previous divorces made her not want to rush things with Gamble. “I don't have the need to put on a long, white dress and walk down an aisle. After Barker spent time with Kardashian at her mom Kris Jenner's Palm Springs, California, home in January 2021, Us Weekly confirmed that the pair were dating. "Kourtney and Travis are officially a couple," the insider told Us. "They have been close friends for years and have been dating for a couple months. Travis is very smitten with Kourtney and has been for a while." Shortly before the dating news broke, the Blink-182 drummer left multiple flirty comments on the Poosh founder's Instagram posts. As she shared a steamy selfie from her closet, Barker commented with a rose emoji. He dropped a mermaid emoji beneath a pic of her walking into the ocean. He also wrote, "You’re So Cool," after she shared screenshots of the 1993 film True Romance. | Everything to Know About Blac Chyna’s Lawsuit Against the Kardashians Posted: 02 May 2022 04:59 PM PDT Following Blac Chyna‘s split from Rob Kardashian, the model experienced major ups and downs with her ex and his famous family — including a legal battle that’s been ongoing for years. Chyna and Kardashian originally confirmed their relationship in January 2016. The pair got engaged after three months of dating and announced that they were expecting their first child together. Their relationship was documented for their E! reality series, Rob & Chyna, from September to December 2016. After the show was renewed for a second season, the sock designer took to social media to announce the couple’s split. Amid the on and off relationship, E! told Variety that production on Rob & Chyna would be put “on hold” in July 2017. The network noted that the spinoff had "not been in production for several months” as they plan to "follow the [Kardashian] family's lead" on what to do next. Later that year, Chyna sued the Kardashians for allegedly interfering with her reality show’s future. The rapper’s attorney, Lynne Ciani, later offered an update on Chyna’s plans to go forward with the legal battle. "Blac Chyna will seek millions in compensatory and punitive damages from Kris [Jenner], Kim [Kardashian], Khloé [Kardashian], and Kylie [Jenner] for defamation, intentional interference with contract, and intentional interference with prospective economic advantage," Ciani said in a statement to Us Weekly in October 2020. "Chyna is beyond thrilled that she will have her day in court." At the time, the lawyer claimed that Chyna's career in reality TV was "permanently damaged" as a result of the Kardashian family. Two months later, a judge ordered the production company behind Rob & Chyna, Bunim/Murray Production, to turn over any unaired footage that was shot for season 2. Chyna and Rob’s relationship made headlines again in March 2022 when the singer claimed that she didn’t receive any child support. "Yesterday I had to give up 3 of my cars … my reasons … morals, beliefs, being a single mother, no support I'm a MAMA," Chyna, who shares daughter Dream with Rob and son King with ex Tyga, tweeted at the time. Rob, for his past, pointed out that he has his daughter from Tuesdays through Saturdays while questioning his ex-fiancée’s allegations. "[I] pay 37k a year for my daughter's school," the California native wrote in an Instagram comment via the Shade Room. "I handle every single medical expense. I pay for all her extracurricular activities. Why would I pay child support? Lol." Less than a week later, Chyna offered an update on her plans to sue the Kardashian family. "I am so thankful that a jury will finally listen to what really happened behind closed doors — the lies that were told and the damage that was done," she tweeted in April 2022. "At the end of the trial, I'm going to be able to proudly tell King and Dream that I did everything I could to right the wrong that was done to me. And that, in life, it is my hope that they will be able to stand up for themselves when it matters too." She noted that her texts are often voice-dictated which would account for the misleading message. That same month, a judge found Kim not guilty of defaming Chyna based on a lack of evidence. | Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' Relationship Timeline Posted: 02 May 2022 04:57 PM PDT These days, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are royalty as far as Hollywood couples go, but the Detective Pikachu star and the Age of Adaline actress were once just two friends out on a double date — with other people! As Reynolds told Entertainment Weekly's SiriusXM show in February 2016: “We went on a double date. She was on a date with another guy, and I was on a date with another girl — and that was, like, the most awkward date for the respective parties because we were just like fireworks coming across." Still, the Critics' Choice winner said he was glad that the two started off as "buddies." "I remember it was funny, because for about a year after Green Lantern had come and gone and all that stuff, we were both single," he said of their shared 2010 film. "I think the best way to have a relationship is to start as friends." It's certainly worked out for the duo. Not only did they go to tie the knot in September 2012, but they have since welcomed three children together. The pair share daughters James and Inez — born in 2015 and 2016, respectively — and a third daughter, born in the summer of 2019. Us Weekly broke the news of baby No. 3’s arrival in October 2019. Nearly a year later, Taylor Swift released "Betty" on her Folklore album, sparking speculation that the couple named their youngest daughter Betty — she also sang about Inez and James on the track. In August 2020, the musician confirmed that she "named all the characters in this story after my friends' kids." Ahead of becoming a family of five, Reynolds joked about the couple's relationship trajectory. | Jury Reaches a Verdict in Blac Chyna Case as Kardashians Head to Met Gala Posted: 02 May 2022 03:59 PM PDT As fans await the Kardashian-Jenner family's arrival at the 2022 Met Gala, a jury has come to a verdict in Blac Chyna's defamation case against Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Kylie Jenner. According to reports from inside the courtroom, a judge ruled to dismiss the case and Chyna will not be awarded any damages. The 33-year-old model took legal action against her ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian's family in 2017 following the cancellation of the former couple's reality show, Rob & Chyna. She was seeking more than $100 million in damages. During the trial, Kim, 41, Khloé, 37, Kris 66, and Kylie, 24, took the stand to testify about the alleged abuse in Rob and Chyna's relationship. The Lashed Cosmetics owner, meanwhile, downplayed stories about her putting a gun to Rob's head and putting an iPhone cord around his neck, telling the judge that she was joking during the alleged incidents. Earlier on Monday, Buzzfeed reported that the Kardashian-Jenners would not be in attendance to hear the verdict in Los Angeles as their attorney confirmed they were all in New York City "at some gala." While Kim, Kris, Kylie and Kendall Jenner have been staples at the Met Gala in recent years, Monday is expected to mark Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian's debuts at the fundraiser. Late last month, the family's lawyer Michael G. Rhodes, who referred to Chyna's claims about Kim, Khloé, Kris and Kylie affecting her career as "absurd," tried to get the case dismissed before the jury's verdict. "Now that [Chyna] has testified in her entirety, and has no additional testimony or evidence to offer on her damages, Defendants respectfully submit that entering such an instruction would be a vastly inadequate remedy," Rhodes said in documents filed in April. "Ms. White's unsupported and wildly speculative claims for damages must not be allowed to go to the jury." Days later, Us confirmed on Friday, April 29, that a ruled that Kim made "no comment" that was "alleged to be defamatory" against Chyna. As the Kardashian-Jenners prepare to walk the carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Chyna has yet to publicly respond to the verdict. |

In addition to Mykelti, Christine shares children Asypen, 26, Paedon, 23, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 18, and Truely, 11, with Kody, 53. The former couple spiritually married in 1994. The Wyoming native was previously legally married to Meri Brown from 1990 to 2014. He later tied the knot with Robyn Brown and remains in a spiritual marriage with sister wife Janelle Brown. In November 2021, Christine announced her decision to part ways from Kody. “After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” she wrote via Instagram after previously moving back to Utah while the rest of the family stayed in Arizona. “We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family. "It's an open investigation, currently we are not releasing any reports, 911 calls or bodycam or dashcam footage. This is a death investigation which is ongoing,” Public Information Officer Williamson said in a statement to Us Weekly on Monday, April 2. “There is no police jurisdiction in that area, so only the sheriff's department attended. Heard, 36, abruptly fired her previous PR team at Precision Strategies on Monday, May 2, because she was “upset about coverage from the trial,” a source tells Us Weekly. The Aquaman actress made the move to replace her former crisis management team with Shane Communications before taking the stand to provide her own highly anticipated testimony. The newly hired firm — which is led by CEO David Shane — previously worked against Depp, 50, when the Pirates of the Caribbean star’s former business managers, The Management Group, alleged that the actor needed to hire a shrink for his "compulsive spending" habits.  Heard is expected to speak in court for the first time in Fairfax, Virginia, sometime this week. The trial is in the fourth week of its planned seven-week duration. More than two decades into their marriage, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos continue to make Us swoon with their passion and adoration for each other. The Live With Kelly and Ryan host and the Riverdale actor's relationship hasn't altered since they first locked eyes as Consuelos read for the part of Mateo Santos, who would eventually become Ripa's character Hayley Vaughan's onscreen love. Shortly after meeting on the set of the soap opera, Consuelos and Ripa quietly began dating. “I thought she was adorable, hot and sexy and all that stuff,” Consuelos recalled during a 2014 interview with HuffPo Live.”But I was very focused — I didn’t really think I had a chance with her, so I wasn’t really focused on that.” After getting to know each other, it didn't take long for the duo to realize they were soulmates. Drew Barrymore made headlines after joking about the legal drama during her talk show. “It’s, like, one layer of crazy, it’s a seven-layer dip of insanity. I know that these are two people’s real lives and I know what it’s like to have your life put out in public,” the 50 First Dates star, 47, said about the live-streamed trial in April. “I understand all the feelings, but they are actually offering up this information.” After receiving criticism on social, the California native apologized to her followers for trying to add humor to the conversation. “It has come to my attention that I have offended people with making light of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard and for that, I just want to deeply apologize and appreciate everyone who spoke out because this can be a teachable moment for me and how I move forward and how I conduct myself,” Barrymore detailed in an Instagram video in May. “I can be a more thoughtful and better person moving forward because all I want to do is be a good person and I very much appreciate the depth of this and I will grow and change from it, and I thank everyone for helping me grow along the way and teaching me.” Depp, 58, and Heard’s court trial is a result of the Oscar nominee suing his ex-wife, 36, for defamation. Shaun White revealed that he’s watched girlfriend Nina Dobrev‘s show The Vampire Diaries — and he found himself rooting for her leading men. “I wasn't going to see her for, like, three months so I was like, ‘Oh, this will be cool, I'll start the show.’ I'll see her without seeing her,” the Olympic gold medalist, 35, told fans via TikTok on Saturday, April 30. “I liked it. It was good.”  He continued: “It was cool, but it got a little dark. She was, like, the love interest of all the guys on the show and I found myself really rooting for them. I'm like, ‘Am I in the way?’ I don't know if that was healthy or not, but I did watch the show and it was really funny.” White previously spoke about getting to know Dobrev, 33, by watching her on the CW show. “As we were getting to know each other, I was like, 'Oh, I should check this show out,'” the Bad Things drummer told Us Weekly exclusively in June 2021. “There's a lot of episodes. Not that I was mad about it, but I didn't realize, like, how deep I was going to go. Because seasons now are, like, oh, 10 episodes. These are, like, 23 episodes a season. And I was in it!” The couple were first linked in February 2020 when fans noticed that they had shared similar photos from a trip to South Africa. Two months later, Us broke the news that White and Dobrev were, indeed, a couple. “They're enjoying their time together and getting to know each other better. Nina really likes Shaun, and they both laugh a lot together,” a source said in April 2020. In addition to binge-watching The Vampire Diaries, White and Dobrev have focused on ways to make their romance a priority despite all of the travel involved with their respective careers. “We have a nice little system of how to stay in touch,” he told Us exclusively about how long-distance dating in October 2021. “Plane tickets are pretty much booked for any opportunity that we can go see one another. So, I know during the holiday break, we're going to meet up, and we're going to meet up again probably around Christmas time. Anything that happens in between, then I'll jet over and see her. You just make it work.” He continued: “I think that's the goal of it all and the key to it all is just making the time. [Nina's] super organized and on top of it, so I give it to her. Johnny Depp‘s agent claimed that the actor would have received a huge sum for a sixth Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Jack Whigham, who represented the Oscar nominee, 58, at Creative Artists Agency and later at Range Media Partners, testified on Monday, May 2, that his client would have made $22.5 million for a sixth Pirates movie. The agent claimed that Amber Heard‘s December 2018 op-ed in The Washington Post led Disney to go “in a different direction" with the franchise. The Edward Scissorhands star and the Aquaman actress, 36, are in the midst of court proceedings related to a defamation lawsuit Depp filed against Heard in early 2019 over the Washington Post essay. Heard wrote about being a survivor of domestic abuse in the piece, but she did not mention her ex-husband by name. "After the op-ed it was impossible to get him a studio film," Whigham testified on Monday, claiming that the essay had a detrimental impact on Depp’s career. "It was a first-person account coming from the victim. It became a death-knell catastrophic thing for Mr. Depp in the Hollywood community." Last month, the Dark Shadows actor claimed that Disney dropped him from a planned Pirates sequel after Heard published her essay. In cross-examination, however, an attorney for the Magic Mike XXL star asked Depp about a Daily Mail report from October 2018 that claimed the actor was "out as Jack Sparrow."  The Kentucky native told the court that he had not seen the Daily Mail article, which appeared two months before his ex-wife published her op-ed. "I wasn't aware of that, but it doesn't surprise me," he testified in April. "Two years had gone by of constant worldwide talk about me being this wife beater. So I'm sure that Disney was trying to cut ties to be safe. The #MeToo movement was in full swing at that point." Heard, for her part, is expected to take the stand for the first time later this week after switching crisis management firms. The New York Post reported on Sunday, May 1, that the Texas native recently dropped Precision Strategies and hired Shane Communications instead. The defamation lawsuit is separate from Depp’s libel suit against the U.K. newspaper The Sun, which was decided in November 2020. The Blow actor filed the lawsuit against the outlet in June 2018 after the paper referred to him as a “wife beater” in an article about the Fantastic Beasts film series. England’s High Court of Justice eventually ruled that the article was not libelous because the allegations against Depp were “substantially true.” Shortly after the verdict, Depp exited the third Fantastic Beasts film, subtitled The Secrets of Dumbledore. "I wish to let you know that I have been asked to resign by Warner Bros. from my role as Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts and I have respected and agreed to that request," he wrote via Instagram at the time.
