Voice actor Greg Cipes is asking fans to help him reclaim the role of Beast Boy on "Teen Titans Go!"
In a post to Instagram on Sunday, internet journalist and DC superfan Emmanuel Newsome tagged James Gunn and asked if he could help out Cipes. Newsome claimed the former "Teen Titans Go!" star shared "lots of upsetting details" about how Warner Bros. "discriminated" against him because of his Parkinson's. Cipes later responded to the post, further clarifying the circumstances surrounding his firing.

"Warner Bros. literally fired me on Valentine's Day right after I publicly shared my Parkinson's diagnosis," Cipes wrote. "It's like a death to me that only the fans can bring back to life."
In a follow-up comment, Newsome said he will be creating a petition for Cipes to get his job back.
Cipes, a prolific voice actor, has been with "Teen Titans" since the original show premiered in 2003. He voiced Beast Boy as well as Adonis and Private H.I.V.E.. Cipes also voiced Beast Boy across all nine Seasons of "Teen Titans Go!"
Cipes' other voice credits include "Young Justice," "Ben 10" (2016), "Milo Murphy's Law," "DC Super Girls," "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," "Ultimate Spider-Man" and "Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!"
"Teen Titans Go!" first premiered in 2013 and has run for 426 episodes so far, spawning several TV specials and a feature-length film. The show has earned three Emmy nominations for outstanding short-form animated program. Other cast members include Scott Menville, Khary Payton, Hynden Walch and Tara Strong.
