As Micah Parsons gets his start with the Green Bay Packers, his first appearance with the team might be a little bit up in the air. Parsons has been dealing with a L4/L5 facet joint sprain in the vertebrae in his back, per multiple reports, and may need an epidural injection before the Packers' season opener next weekend.

Parsons has reportedly been prescribed an anti-inflammatory to reduce the tightness in his back, and have him on a physical therapy program, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. The injury puts his availability for Week 1 into question, as Green Bay hosts the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

Prior to be traded to the Packers in a blockbuster deal, the edge rusher had been sidelined through the Dallas Cowboys' preseason, citing a back injury. Despite some speculation that him sitting out of practice may have had more to do with the ongoing contract standoff with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, Parsons' injury appears to be real, and may affect his availability for Sunday's game.

Somewhere along my journey from Brooklyn to New Jersey, the subway platforms and train cars became swarmed by people clad in Adidas tracksuits, soccer kits, bucket hats and round sunglasses. We weren't flocking to a Britpop Halloween party. No, the next best thing: the resurrection of Oasis at MetLife Stadium — the first time the Gallagher brothers appeared together anywhere near New York in 17 years.

Oasis announced their reunion more than a year ago, and they had already played 20 shows as part of the Live '25 tour. (I know this because I've been pleasantly inundated with clips from those concerts for the last eight weeks.) But on Sunday night, when Liam and Noel Gallagher strode onstage together, holding hands in triumph, there was a part of me that still couldn't believe my eyes. The brothers turned rivals spent a decade and a half launching verbal rockets at each other — "idiot," "knobhead," "potato" and, quite often, a four-letter word that begins with C. For years, an Oasis reunion seemed impossible. So, the sight of Liam and Noel united, literally, was inspiring.

Oasis' Noel Gallagher Is 'Completely Blown Away' by Reunion Tour So Far, Says 'It's Great Being Back in a Band' With Brother Liam: 'I'm Proud of Him'

This Oasis Photo Collection Captures Raw Behind-the-Scenes Moments From the Band's '90s Heyday

But before I could get too sappy, the Gallaghers took their places and immediately blasted into "Hello," Liam leaning forward in a parka, hands behind his back, and Noel strumming a Les Paul, straight-faced. Fans launched their half-drunken pints into the sky, beer spraying all over the pit. In any other setting, getting drenched in someone else's lager might have been a night-ruiner. Instead, people collapsed into each other, sticky Yankees shouting in Manchester accents, "And it's never gonna be the same / 'Cause the years are falling by like the rain!"

The crowd bounced to the driving bass line of "Bring It on Down." Hands shot in the air for a "Supersonic" played faster than usual. And a guy shook his soft pretzel like a tambourine during "Some Might Say." An early highlight of the setlist was "Acquiesce," the fan-favorite B-side on which the brothers trade verse and chorus. While Noel has denied the song is about his relationship with Liam, the context of this joyous armistice makes it hard to read the duet any other way: "Because we need each other / We believe in one another."

Maybe it's because they are literally brothers, but Oasis seems to evoke the spirit of bromance more than any contemporary band. The crowd was teeming with male friend groups, arms locked around each other's necks. Guys hugging and jumping, and hugging while jumping. Grown men mounted on other grown men's backs. Girls, too, got in on the fun, forming their own mini mosh pit and waving the British flag. One woman who was repeatedly featured on the jumbotron held a sign that read: "WE'VE ALWAYS LOVED YOU."

The energy in the stadium peaked with the blazing blues rock of "Cigarettes & Alcohol," which kicked off with a "Poznań," a Manchester City soccer tradition in which the fans face away from the game (in this case, the stage), link arms and jump in unison. "They said you wouldn't do it, America, and you did it," Liam said, like a proud football coach. "Congratulations."

In fairness, there were also plenty of Brits in the house, some of which had presumably traveled across the pond for their second, third or fourth Oasis reunion show. (One English gentleman in front of me at the food stand asked a stadium cashier for tartar sauce, to which she replied, "Those are chicken tenders you're holding, sir.")

This has been noted in nearly every Oasis review in 2025, but it bears repeating that the band sounds as good as ever. Noel commanded the stage with a couple of beautifully sung acoustic numbers, and Liam's grainy snarl was scathing and perfectly pitched, whether he's spitting out "Stand by me!" or stretching "sunshine" into a three-syllable word. The concert felt less like a rehash of the greatest hits of the 1990s, more like witnessing a band still at the peak of its powers.

Still, if I have one complaint, the setlist suffered a bit of a lull toward the middle of the concert — I might scrap the forgettable "Cast No Shadow," and I could probably do without "Whatever," save for Liam's cheeky interpolation of "Octopus's Garden." But once the band launched into "Live Forever," dedicating it to "the kiddies in Minneapolis," the concert became a medley of some of the greatest arena-rock songs ever written.

Oasis closed with the scorching "Rock 'n' Roll Star" before returning to the stage for "The Masterplan" and then its three biggest hits. Teasing "Don't Look Back in Anger," Noel told the audience that they've probably wondered what it's like to sing this next song with 60,000 people. "Now you'll know what that feeling is like," he said, before those opening piano chords summoned a wave of warm applause. Sandwiched between "Don't Look Back in Anger" and the final song of the night, "Wonderwall" felt slightly rushed. Introduced with an amusing casualness ("Anyway, here's 'Wonderwall'"), the karaoke behemoth might have been better placed toward the beginning of the setlist.

And finally there was "Champagne Supernova," in which Liam's nasally vocal crescendo bathed in swirling electric guitar fuzz. The seven-minute song climaxed with a firework show above MetLife Stadium as Liam stood still, balancing a tambourine on his head.

The show was over, but another encore of sorts occurred on the 30-minute commute back to New York City, as train cars buzzed with Oasis fans belting out the choruses to "Don't Look Back in Anger," "Wonderwall" and "Live Forever" a capella. There were older couples who had traveled from overseas, fans in their 20s and 30s who never thought they'd see Oasis live, and children wearing "Live Forever" shirts that were born after the band broke up in 2009.

It reminded me of that "WE'VE ALWAYS LOVED YOU" sign that kept appearing on-screen at the concert. Oasis may have broken up, but their fans stayed together. They existed during the band's 16-year hiatus, and, while it's sure nice to have Liam and Noel back together, the fans will remain after the brothers inevitably decide to part ways again.

After this tour ends, Oasis' future is unclear. The band insists there is no new music on the way, and their manager has called the tour "the last time around." Still, if there's one piece of advice the Gallaghers should take from their music, it's this: Don't go away.

Kaia Gerber and Lewis Pullman are keeping their romance alive overseas.

The Saturday Night actress, 23. and Thunderbolts* actor, 32, were spotted in Venice, Italy, on Aug. 31 getting handsy and exchanging smooches during a PDA-packed date night.

Photos of the pair, who sparked dating rumors this past January, show them in coordinating black and white outfits — Gerber in a backless dress and heels and Pullman in a T-shirt, slacks, brown boots and a jean jacket — while holding each other in an embrace. They also appeared with smiles on their faces as they canoodled during their Italian rendezvous.

The two were also spotted together in the city earlier in the day for the Venice Film Festival, where his film with Amanda Seyfried, The Testament of Ann Lee, premiered on Monday, Sept. 1.

The two twinned in coordinating all-black looks for the red carpet event. Gerber opted for a romantic Givenchy dress with a lace top and sheer embellished skirt, while Pullman dressed up in a bow tie and tuxedo. They also both opted to wear sunglasses for the sunny occasion.

Gerber and Pullman were last seen keeping things cozy at the private membership club the Living Room in Los Angeles on June 20. Photos showed them walking hand in hand down the street and in casual outfits.

They've come a long way since they first sparked dating rumors this past January, when they seen hanging out at Los Angeles restaurant Salazar on Pullman's birthday. His father, actor Bill Pullman, was also in attendance.

At the time, a source described Gerber and Pullman to PEOPLE as "a cute couple and very low-key."

The relationship has also received support from her parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. "Lewis has met Kaia's parents, and they really like him," a source then told PEOPLE of the parents' feelings on their daughter's romance. "Everyone says Kaia and Lewis have great chemistry, and she loves how grounded and genuine he is," they added.

The insider also revealed that Gerber "appreciates" Pullman has a "different" vibe than her past boyfriends. "He's very low-key, and she likes that he's not caught up in the spotlight. He just has this calm, down-to-earth energy, and she finds it really comforting."

However, the couple themselves have kept mum about their status. Pullman avoided a question about Gerber on the Thunderbolts* premiere red carpet in April.

Gerber dated Austin Butler before she was spotted publicly with Pullman. PEOPLE confirmed that the now-exes went their separate ways in January, after going public with their relationship in March 2022.

Young Sheldon alum Raegan Revord is explaining why Iain Armitage reprising his role as Sheldon Cooper in Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage wouldn't necessarily "make sense" in the Big Bang Theory lore

Revord told Entertainment Tonight that it felt unlikely given that Georgia and Sheldon "kind of have a rift between them" in The Big Bang Theory

"They have found loopholes before. Maybe they'll find one again," she said

There's been Young Sheldon and there's been adult Sheldon, but another Sheldon may not work canonically, at least according to one of the series' stars.

Raegan Revord, who played Sheldon Cooper's twin sister Missy in the CBS sitcom from 2017 until its 2024 finale and reprises the role in Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage, shared why she thinks a Sheldon cameo in the new series — which takes place in the same, ever-growing Big Bang Theory universe — may not be entirely possible.

Georgie & Mandy, which is set in the mid '90s and centers around Sheldon's older brother Georgie Cooper (Montana Jordan) and wife Mandy McAllister (Emily Osment), takes place between the events of both Young Sheldon and The Big Bang Theory.

So while fans of the universe may want to see actor Iain Armitage reprise his role as the fictional brainiac, Revord explained in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight why she thinks it wouldn't necessarily make sense in the overall Big Bang timeline.

"That would be so much fun, but I feel like if, because they're sticking to the Big Bang Theory lore and everything, because the whole thing in The Big Bang Theory is Georgie and Sheldon don't talk, because they kind of have a rift between them after [their father] George dies," Revord, 17, said.

"And so if they're sticking to that, I feel like it wouldn't make sense for Sheldon to come back," she added.

Montana Jordan, Emily Osment, Will Sasso and Rachel Bay Jones in 'Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage'Still, Revord isn't ruling anything out.

"But who knows? Maybe they'll find a loophole," she said. "They have found loopholes before. Maybe they'll find one again."

Armitage hasn't ruled out any appearances on Georgie & Mandy either, telling ET in 2024 that he was "always" down to make an appearance.

"They don't even need me stepping in and intruding," the actor, 17, added at the time. "But I'm excited to see what they do. I would love to step in for an episode."

Iain Armitage (left) and Raegan Revord in 'Young Sheldon'Revord added that she "just finished filming" the second season of Georgie & Mandy, which is set to premiere in October.

As she explained, the new season will also feature Zoe Perry (Mary Cooper).

"It was a lot of fun," said Revord, who also has a new novel, Rules for Fake Girlfriends, out Sept. 2. "I loved it. I missed everyone so much. It's a great storyline."

It's been a major year for the Young Sheldon crew, too.

Jordan, 22, married his real-life love Jenna Weeks in a "classic cowboy" themed Texas wedding in June. His sitcom costars were in attendance, including Revord, who told ET that the weekend was "so emotional."

"I was like, 'I don't know if I'm gonna cry.' Like, I could not tell you. I might, I might not. And then the reception stars and he walks in," Revord recalled. "I started sobbing. Immediately."

"Honestly, I'm so proud of him," she added. "He's just done so well and he has such an amazing head on his shoulders."

As for Rules for Fake Girlfriends, Revord's debut novel follows Avery Blackwell, a girl who attends her mom's alma mater, Brighton College. The protagonist meets Charlie, a girl who asks her to pretend to be her girlfriend and becomes her aid in finishing a scavenger hunt that her mother left behind. As she revealed to ET, she wrote some of it on set of Young Sheldon.

Season 2 of Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage premieres Thursday, Oct. 16 on CBS. Revord's novel, Rules for Fake Girlfriends, is available on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
