America has long had the Met Gala, but now, the UK has a version of its own. Last night, the British Museum hosted their inaugural "Pink Ball," a fundraising event dedicated to art, fashion, culture, and community. Co-hosted by philanthropist Isha Ambani, the evening celebrated the London museum's Ancient India: Living Traditions exhibition with a guest list full of familiar faces, from Naomi Campbell and Princess Diana's niece Lady Kitty Spencer to Janet Jackson and Mick Jagger.

For the occasion, Ambani stood out in a custom pink satin jacket and column skirt by renowned Indian design house Abu Janu Sandeep Khosla, known for their timeless romance, contemporary sensibilities, and impeccable detail. Handwoven with intricate embroidery, pearls, sequins, and crystals, the ensemble served as both an ode to tradition and a reflection of our modern times. Styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania, Ambani paired the look with eye-catching emeralds from her mother's own collect

"The ensemble reflects her elegance, poise, and inner strength, while celebrating the joy of hand embroidery and floral artistry that have always been at the heart of our work," the designers shared. "Dressing Isha is always a privilege and to do so as she chairs the Pink Ball, marking such a significant milestone, is deeply special. Every stitch, every detail was made with her in mind, capturing her refined sensibilities, her quiet strength, and the grace she brings to everything she does."

Cheering on her daughter, NMACC founder Nita Ambani showed her support in a look that similarly highlighted the impeccable craftsmanship, artistry, and history of Indian fashion design. Crafted from mulberry silk and embellished with gold zari, her powder pink Kanjivaram sari was handwoven by R. Varadan, a master artisan from Kanchipuram dedicated to preserving the craft.
