Regardless of how stacked or overpowered other teams were, or who was handling the backfield duties in New England, the Pats were the last team everybody wanted to face come playoff time. Even so, Brady and Belichick grew apart with time and it became clear that the legendary quarterback didn't feel appreciated in Foxboro. Brady Wanted Bill O'Brien To Coach The Patriots Brady's departure from New England was a big surprise at the time. But ever since, multiple reports have shown how things weren't that good between him and Belichick. If anything, Brady wanted Bill O'Brien to take over Belichick's job in 2017, according to Albert Breer: “I think the ship has sailed on there being a coaching change now,” Breer said. “If it were up to [Brady] out of the coaches who were still available: Bill O’Brien.”O'Brien Was Close To Getting The Job Per Breer, the Buccaneers are unlikely to remove Bruce Arians from his HC position right now. But if they were, then Bill O'Brien would be a name to watch because of his relationship with Brady: “That’s who was going to be the head coach, that’s who Tom Brady helped line up as the head coach if he won the power struggle with Bill Belichick in 2017," Breer added. "If Belichick was outta there, after everything that happened in 2017, I’m telling you Bill O’Brien would have been the head coach.”Gisele And Brady Resented Belichick This isn't the first time that a report like this surfaced. A couple of years ago, Jeff Benedict's book 'The Dynasty' points out how Brady's wife Gisele Bundchen resented Belichick's treatment of Tom: "She also pointed out how ridiculous it was that after all these years, Belichick still treated Brady like “f*cking Johnny Foxboro.” It was bad enough to never voice approval. The alleged targeted telemarketing scheme was a main talking point for the second season, and with the trial coming up this July in NYC, Jen took the opportunity to clear her name. From an average playoff team, the arrival of Harden has turned the Sixers into one of the top favorites to represent the Eastern Conference in the 2022 NBA Finals. However, despite having the tandem of Harden and Joel Embiid, there's no 100 percent assurance that the Sixers would bring home the Larry O'Brien Trophy this season, especially with the emergence of numerous powerhouse teams in the league. If they fall short of achieving their main goal, the Sixers are expected to find a way to further improve their roster around Embiid and Harden. The Dream Trade Target Even after trading for Harden, the Sixers still have a plethora of trade assets that they could use to engage in a blockbuster deal next summer. One of the dream trade targets for the Sixers is All-Star shooting guard Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards. The Wizards may haven't shown any indication that they are planning to move Beal but if he expresses his desire to leave, they would be left with no choice but to listen to offers for him on the trade market. Creating A Superteam In a recent article, Addam Goldman of Fadeaway World came up with a hypothetical blockbuster trade idea that would allow the Sixers to create a "superteam" featuring Beal, Harden, and Embiid next summer. However, to make it happen, the Sixers would have to give up a young and promising point guard like Tyrese Maxey. In the proposed trade scenario, the Sixers would be sending a trade package that includes Maxey, Matisse Thybulle, Tobias Harris, and a 2023 first-round pick to the Wizards in exchange for Beal. Is Bradley Beal Worth Giving Up Tyrese Maxey? Giving up a player like Maxey would be a tough decision for the Sixers. However, it's something that they should strongly consider if they think that they still need more star power to end their title drought. Sacrificing Maxey for Beal would definitely be worth it for the Sixers. Beal would give the Sixers a very reliable third-scoring option behind Harden and Embiid, as well as a good playmaker and a decent floor spacer. If they once again fall short of achieving their main goal, the Heat are expected to try to find ways to further improve their roster next summer. Using Tyler Herro To Land Superior Talent In a recent article, Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report discussed Tyler Herro and his future with the Heat. Herro may be one of the main reasons behind their current success, but Fischer believes the Heat won't mind using him as a trade chip to land another superstar in the 2022 NBA offseason. "Miami has clearly come to highly value Herro and was resistant to moving him to Toronto for Lowry last year, sources said. Yet league insiders maintain the Heat would sacrifice Herro's promising ceiling for a chance to land the right superior talent."Potential Trade Target - Anthony Davis According to Kenneth Teape of NBA Analysis Network, one of the players that the Heat could target in the potential deal involving Herro is All-Star power forward Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers. "Given the current state of their franchise, it wouldn’t hurt Miami to check in on Davis’ availability and see what it could potentially cost to acquire him in a deal. Davis has dealt with a myriad of injuries this season, but the Heat present him the exact kind of opportunity he is looking for."Heat Create Fearsome Foursome Trading a package centered on Herro for Davis would be a no-brainer for the Heat. Davis may be currently recovering from an injury but when he's 100 percent healthy, he could significantly improve the Heat's performance on both ends of the floor and enable them to create a fearsome foursome with Jimmy Butler, Kyle Lowry, and Bam Adebayo in the 2022-23 NBA season. In Davis, the Heat would be getting a very reliable scoring option under the basket, a monster rebounder, a quality rim protector, and a decent floor spacer. This season, the 29-year-old power forward is averaging 23.1 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.3 blocks, and 1.2 steals while shooting 53.7 percent from the field. If he meshes well with Butler, Lowry, and Adebayo, the Heat would be a matchup nightmare to every powerhouse team in the league. Why The Lakers Would Make The Trade The proposed blockbuster deal with the Heat would only be worth exploring for the Lakers if LeBron James leaves and they decide to undergo a full-scale rebuild. Herro would give the Lakers the centerpiece of the next title-contending team that they will try to build in Los Angeles. He may still have plenty of things that he needs to improve in his game but during the times when the Heat's superstars were injured, he has shown his ability to lead a team.
