Brittany Snow's ex-husband Tyler Stanaland reveals that he popped the question to his girlfriend Hannah Morrisey in an Instagram post shared on Friday, Oct. 17
He wrote alongside photos of the proposal that their "little family just got a whole lot more official"
Snow and Stanaland wed in 2020 and the actress filed for divorce in 2023
Wedding bells are ringing for Tyler Stanaland and Hannah Morrisey.
The Selling the OC star, 36, shared on Instagram on Friday, Oct. 17, that he proposed to Morrisey while on a romantic getaway — one that took them to a place especially close to their hearts.
"Last week, in the very place we road tripped to shortly after we first met, I asked the best person I've ever known for forever," he wrote alongside a video of the proposal and photos of the pair posing at the site posing together with their dog.
"Our little family just got a whole lot more official. 💒," he added.

In the clip, Morrisey could be seen kissing their dog as she said, "We're getting married." The two then took turns kissing their dog before they shared a kiss. The video ended with Morrisey showing off her new engagement ring to the camera.
She showed a closer look at the ring— and its an oval-shaped diamond — in a follow-up photo. The Instagram carousel then concluded with a photo of the family of three: Stanaland, Morrisey and their dog.
"When the right person enters your life, it's not just love, it's a transformation," Stanaland wrote. "All the uncertainties are replaced with peace and partnership. And when you're also aligned on all the important things it's absolute magic."
"I have never had more fun or been more inspired and challenged in all the best ways. My cup is absolutely overflowing by this beautiful little family we're creating," he added.
Last month, Stanaland wished Morrisey a "Happy Birthday" alongside a carousel of photos and videos of the pair surfing, going to the beach and posing together at events.

At the end of August he also shared that the pair adopted a dog, sharing photos of the puppy playing and of him and Morrisey on an outing with the brown pup. He captioned that post, New "BFF. Welcome home, Honey ❤️."

Stanaland was previously married to actress Brittany Snow. The pair got engaged in 2019 — one year after they met — and wed in 2020. However, in September, 2022, the Pitch Perfect actress announced their "difficult decision to separate" in an Instagram post, writing, "This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another."
In January 2023, Snow officially filed for divorce from Stanaland. The court documents obtained by PEOPLE cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split. The divorce was finalized in July 2023.
