It's been quite the carousel at No. 2 in the AP Top 25.

The Miami Hurricanes became the third different team to occupy the spot in the past three weeks after their 28-22 win over previously No. 18 Florida State on Saturday night.

The Hurricanes moved up a spot from No. 3 to No. 2 as Ohio State stayed at No. 1. Oregon was off in Week 6 and dropped a spot to No. 3. Ole Miss stayed at No. 4, while Texas A&M moved up to No. 5 after beating Mississippi State.

As Miami moved up a spot, the top two teams in the first AP Top 25 of the year are now unranked. After Texas lost to Florida and Penn State lost to UCLA, neither team is ranked in Sunday's poll. The Longhorns started the season at No. 1 and the Nittany Lions were No. 2. Penn State was No. 7 a week ago and Texas was No. 9. Neither team has a win over a power conference team so far this season.

With Clemson's 2-3 start, three of the top five teams in the first AP poll are currently unranked. The Tigers beat North Carolina on Saturday and started at No. 4 in the top 25. Overall, just five of the teams in the preseason top 10 are still in the top 10 less than halfway through the season.

Oklahoma beat Kent State on Saturday and fell to No. 6 as they got leapfrogged by Texas A&M. The Sooners play Texas in Week 7 in their annual rivalry game. It'll be the first time since 2017 that Oklahoma has been ranked and Texas has been unranked at the time of the game.

Indiana is at No. 7 ahead of Alabama at No. 8. The Crimson Tide beat Vanderbilt and moved up two spots. The Commodores dropped from No. 16 to No. 20.

The rest of the top 10 is filled out by Texas Tech and Georgia. The Red Raiders beat Houston on Saturday night and Georgia got an easy win over Kentucky.

With the Red River Rivalry now featuring just one ranked team, Week 7 has two matchups between top-15 teams. Oregon hosts Indiana in the game of the week, while Alabama travels to No. 14 Missouri.
