Tori Spelling revealed she cut her own bob one hour before an event
The actress shared that the transformation has made her feel "so good"

Tori Spelling is making a change.
In an Instagram post shared on Sunday, Sept. 28, the actress, 52, revealed that she gave herself a dramatic hair transformation.
"I cut my own hair and I liked it... " Spelling wrote in the caption alongside three photos of her new blunt bob.
She continued, "Call it spontaneity or rebel energy but 1 hour before an event last night I decided to cut my own hair! Chop chop." The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum also shared that her 17-year-old daughter, Stella McDermott, cut the back of her hair.
Spelling mused about what prompted her to make the chop, saying that she "felt like a change.""Out with the old in with the new ✨," she wrote. "I haven't stopped smiling and beaming 💇🏼♀️. Change starts from within but sometimes a literal physical change can feed the soul. Show my new DIY DO some ♥️ in comments below xo."

The comment section lit up with friends and family praising the star's DIY cut.

In a video shared to Instagram Stories, Spelling showed off her hair mid-transformation, with half of her hair cut into a shoulder-grazing bob and the other half left long.
"About last nite... the Rebel girl in me will never die," she wrote over the clip.

In another Stories post, the actress revealed the results of a poll asking her followers if they liked her new look, with an overwhelming majority responding "yes."
"You like it you really like it!" Spelling wrote. "Which is amazing but most importantly I LOVE it. I feel so good. Loving ME. The season to shed what no longer serves you."
The star added that her Beverly Hills, 90210 costar Brian Austin Green told her the new style made her "look at least a decade younger."
"Yassss I'll take it," she concluded.
In March, Spelling opened up to PEOPLE about her journey to feeling confident.
"It's something I'm definitely still working on," she explained. "I think people assume when you're in this business, you're an actor and you're famous and you speak [that] you're so confident. I've had a lack of confidence my entire life and I never felt worthy enough."
The mom of five admitted that she tells her children they're "worth anything and everything" without truly believing it about herself.
"I used to speak those words to them, but inside I was thinking 'I don't feel that way [about myself],'" she added. "So I'm really working on that."
