This season of Bachelor in Paradise was interesting because there wasn't necessarily a winning couple, per se. Two couples were allowed to vie for a huge amount of prize money after a Rose Ceremony and a final Relationship Test, but there was a bit of a bait and switch regarding the prize.
Read on to find out what happened, but be warned of spoilers ahead. Don't keep reading if you don't want to be spoiled.

Who won Bachelor in Paradise season 10?
So, after all the hoops they were made to jump through, what it came down to was that Jess/Spencer and Alexe/Andrew were each (alone) presented with $250,000 cash, and each individual person had to choose between the money and their partner.
If both halves of the couple chose love, they would not receive any money but would know they have a solid relationship. If one person chose love and one chose money, the person who chose money would get the money. If they both chose money, they both would leave empty-handed.
In a rather baller move, Andrew chose love but said he would understand if Alexe chose the money because she really needs the money. But she chose love, too! And also revealed she's basically ready to move to Chicago for Andrew.
But then — twist! Since they both chose love, they were given the option of three envelopes containing various (but large) amounts of prize money. They chose envelope 2 and won $125,000 to share.
Then it was Jess and Spencer's turn. They both chose love, too, which was lovely, and then their envelope contained $190,000. Everything was coming up roses, but THEN! Spencer gave a really amazing speech about Jess and proposed and she said yes!
The episode ended with a nice update on the final five couples. Everyone is still together, which is honestly a little bit surprising, but good for them. And Kathy and Keith are still friends.

Who went home on the Bachelor in Paradise season 10 finale tonight?
Before the finale-finale, there was one last Rose Ceremony that sent two couples home. At the cocktail party, Keith and Kathy told the four younger couples that they were going to vote themselves out and that their other vote would be basically for whichever couple doesn't need the money because they think the winning couple should be the pair that needs the money the most.
Dale told Jeremy that he thought Jeremy and Bailey should be the other couple voted out, so obviously Jeremy was going to reciprocate. Jeremy then rallied Andrew/Alexe and Jess/Spencer to vote out Kat and Dale as well. It basically came down to Kat/Dale and Bailey/Jeremy.
The couple sent home (besides Keith and Kathy) was Jeremy and Bailey, which was not a huge shock after all the Susie drama, honestly. Plus, Kat opening up about her rough childhood that eventually landed her in a group home and how she became a nurse so that her future children would never have to struggle the way she did might have been what swayed Keith and Kathy to keep Dale and Kat.
Keith and Kathy leaving was very emotional. They seem like great people, and all the younger contestants obviously loved them to pieces.

What was the final Relationship Test of Bachelor in Paradise season 10?
The final Relationship Test was called "Weight of the World," and it was a little Survivor-esque. Each couple was given a weight that they had to hold up based on their combined body weights, and then more weight got added as time went on. If one partner got tired, one half of the team would be able to take on more weight for their partner. The winning couple got to automatically move on to the final round.
At 30 percent of their combined body weight and 30 minutes down, Dale and Kat dropped first. At 35 percent and 43 minutes down, Jess and Spencer dropped, and Andrew and Alexe won.
How was the other final couple chosen on the Bachelor in Paradise finale?
In another Survivor-esque twist, the big shocker after the final Relationship Test was that the people who got to determine the other final couple were all the couples who had previously been voted off, starting at the point where there were no more new contestants added to the mix. It was the jury, or the "Parliament of Paradise," as Sean coined.
But the extra twist was that the jury didn't HAVE to vote another couple into the finale. If they did, then each final couple had a chance at $250,000 instead of one couple getting the full $500,000. And Parliament Sean and Allyshia, captioned "Prime Sinister" by the amazing caption writer this season, dropped the bombshell that Kat brought a secret laptop with her and has been sending messages to her ex. They revealed it in front of everyone, and most people were super mad that they would do that, but also, Kat wasn't really denying it. She said they "twisted" things to make her look bad. She was also refusing to talk to Dale about it on camera, and later said something very cryptic about how do you know when something begins and ends. Hmmm.
Either way, the jury voted for Jess and Spencer to vie for the $250,000 alongside Alexe and Andrew.
Bachelor Nation returns on Wednesday, September 24, with the premiere of The Golden Bachelor season 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Hulu.
