The talk of college football Monday morning centered around Bill Belichick's debut at UNC. After winning six Super Bowl in the NFL, how much would the coach dominate the college level? Belichick and UNC remained the talk of the sport following that game Monday ... and not in a good way.
The Tar Heels were blown out 48-14 by TCU on Monday night. After hearing weeks of hype about their opponent, TCU took Monday's win as an opportunity to troll all their critics.
The actual players and coaches mostly took a respectful route in their trash talk. Following the contest, TCU head coach Sonny Dykes said the team felt "disrespected" coming into the game and used that as motivation against UNC.
"I think we all felt a little disrespected, maybe, coming in. There was a lot of conversation and none of it was about us. I think we all were highly motivated. Our players were certainly excited to play."TCU coach Sonny Dykes after TCU's 48-14 beatdown of North Carolina. pic.twitter.com/KE43WKBzbg

It was a much different situation over on X, however, as the team's social-media admin had a lot of fun with anyone hyping up Belichick and UNC prior to — and during — the game. Both Skip Bayless and Colin Cowherd were among the casualties.

As was basically everyone else who hyped up the Belichick, UNC angle before the game. Deadspin, @RedditCFB and even Lawrence Taylor were among those to receive ire from TCU.

Taylor, who went to UNC, was among the many celebrities in attendance for Monday's game.
But perhaps the best TCU tweet of the night was directed right at UNC Football. In the lead-up to the college-football season, UNC teased a "Hard Knocks" style show that would follow the team in season during Belichick's first year as head coach. UNC was actually supposed to be featured in a college football version of "Hard Knocks," but that show fell through. In August, the school announced Hulu would carry a similar program highlighting UNC.
TCU grabbed one of UNC Football tweets promoting the show and asked when the first episode would be available.
when does episode one come out? https://t.co/ZOp6lUwgKF

TCU's blowout win over UNC will, presumably, be featured in the series at some point. There is no set date for the first episode of the show. After Monday's embarrassing loss, that's probably for the best.
