Nicholas Braun was arrested on charges of a DUI and operating his vehicle without lights on Saturday, Aug. 30, according to the Moultonborough Police Department
The alleged incident occurred in Moultonborough, New Hampshire at 11:15 p.m., the police chief told PEOPLE on Sept. 2
Braun is best known for his time playing Greg Hirsch on Succession, which earned him three Emmy nominations
Nicholas Braun ran into some trouble with the law over Labor Day weekend.
The actor, 37, was arrested at 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30, in New Hampshire, according to a press release from the Moultonborough Police Department. Per the Chief of Police, Braun was pulled over and taken into custody on suspicion of "DUI-impairment" and operating his vehicle without lights.
Per TMZ, who was the first to report the news, Braun was booked into the Carroll County jail and released on his own recognizance without bail with an upcoming court date.
PEOPLE has reached out to a rep for Braun for comment.

His performance earned him three Primetime Emmy nominations, one Critics Choice nomination and two Screen Actors Guild awards.
He also made a name for himself in several Disney movies in the early 2000s, including Sky High, Minutemen and Princess Protection Program.
Recently, Braun portrayed Andy Kaufman and Jim Henson in the film Saturday Night, a biographical film telling the story of the now-iconic sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live.

Nicholas BraunIn October 2024, he opened up to PEOPLE about life after Succession and shared rare details about his relationship with Hyunji Ward.
"My girlfriend's family has a cottage on Lake Michigan," he explained when asked about his most recent blissful moment. "Whenever we go, there's no cell service, and we're just baking pies. I've actually learned how to make a crust, everything. I can do it all."
He also revealed that they got a puppy named Mia.
"Every time she pees outside in front of our house, we do a celebration, which consists of dancing," Braun laughed. "I hope no one is seeing us."
In March, the couple went Instagram official when Braun posted a sweet message for Ward's birthday.
Alongside a series of snapshots from throughout their relationship, Braun wrote: "HBD to my sweet sweet DARLING of a girlfriend!!! You are the absolute joy of my life."
"You make me my best self!!" he continued. "Like when you said that I could pull off this shirt full of forks. You were right. Love you dearly ❤️"
