The NHL announced a 15-day, 104-game preseason schedule that begins on Saturday, Sept. 20 and runs through Saturday, Oct. 4.
All 32 NHL teams will host at least one preseason game, and there will be neutral-site games in Abbotsford, British Columbia; Bakersfield, California; Boise, Idaho; Hershey, Pennsylvania; Ontario, California; Orlando, Florida; and Quebec City, Quebec.
The preseason will wrap up with 11 games on Oct. 4. The regular season starts on Oct. 7 with a three-game ESPN tripleheader.
This will be the last season with this many preseason games. Under the new collective-bargaining agreement that starts in 2026-27, teams will play two fewer preseason games apiece as the regular season expands to 84 games.
