The incident resulted in the golf cart driving into the actress' car
Jamie Lynn Spears' dog is causing a ruckus.
The Zoey 101 alum, 34, shared that her dog Cricket had caused something of an at-home fender bender when he decided to take the golf cart for a spin.
In a video posted to Instagram on Saturday, Aug. 23, Spears included footage from the incident — in which the small vehicle accelerated into her car.
"Cricket decided to take the golf cart for a ride…into my Escalade. yes, the golf cart was off, & he turned it on somehow, and left his mark. 🐾," she wrote in the caption.
The black lab pup can be seen crawling into the golf cart, but ended up sitting on the pedals before he could reach the seat.
As a result, the golf cart propelled swiftly forward into the side of Spears' car, which was all caught on tape inside their garage. Clearly surprised, Cricket was then filmed fleeing the scene.

The video's thumbnail featured Cricket posing beside the dent in Spears' car, with a big grin on his face.
The singer-actress got the golf cart as a Christmas present, she revealed in an Instagram post on Dec. 25, 2024.
She and her family — including daughters Maddie Briann, 17, and Ivey Joan, 7 — posed on the golf cart, which featured a big red bow.
