Lady Gaga is using her free days ahead of her Mayhem Ball tour dates to spend time with her fiancé, Michael Polansky. She stepped out for a stylish date night in New York City before hitting the stage!
The singer, 39, was spotted alongside Polansky in New York City on Aug. 21 after having dinner at the celebrity-frequented hot spot The Corner Store.
For the occasion, Gaga wore several black pieces to create a casual, goth-inspired look. The "Born This Way" singer wore what looked to be a black catsuit. The 14-time Grammy Award winner played with proportions and threw a cropped oversize blazer with exaggerated shoulders over top, giving it that Gaga twist rather than wearing the expected.

The black pieces continued with Gaga's choice of accessories. She wore a tiny black crossbody bag and wore towering black platform boots. She additionally wore a pair of oversize black sunglasses to shield her eyes from the paparazzi.
Gaga also rocked her signature platinum blonde hair and added one singular pop of color with a an orangey-red lip color.
Polansky subtly matched his pop star fiancée in a black hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and black sneakers.
The Aug. 20 date night marks the couple's first major public outing in five months. The pair were last spotted attending the Saturday Night Live afterparty at L'Avenue on March 8 in New York City.

Gaga wowed that night in a glittering long-sleeve sweetheart-neckline bodysuit, which she wore with sheer black tights and black heels. She swapped her signature blonde hair for a short black bob with bangs.
On Feb. 17, the couple got dressed up for the SNL50 afterparty in New York City. That night, Gaga looked stunning in a one-shoulder silver satin dress that cinched in at the waist and draped elegantly over her body.

She completed the look with leather gloves and knee-high platform boots. Polansky, meanwhile, went classic in a tuxedo with black satin lapels for the evening.
Gaga's latest outing in New York City comes ahead of her playing four Mayhem Ball dates at Madison Square Garden on Aug. 22, 23, 26 and 27. She'll head back to the city for a pair of Mayhem Ball dates on Sept. 6 and 7.
