And just like that, And Just Like That has come to an end, and oh what a sh--ty end it was, quite literally.
After three seasons, the often maligned sequel to Sex and the City came to a crashing end on Thursday, Aug. 14, with a Thanksgiving episode (yes, airing in the middle of the summer) complete with a backed-up toilet, a woman named Epcot and the return of Miranda's karaoke machine.
When And Just Like That premiered in 2021, fans of Sex and the City were optimistic despite the announcement that Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones in the original, would not be returning with Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon. Unfortunately as Season 1 progressed, the series drew more and more vitriol from fans, leading the later seasons to be appointment hate-watching and meme-farming than anything else. Big dying, Che Diaz and Carrie's massive hat in Washington Square Park will go down in TV infamy.

Sadly, the show's series finale will also likely go down as one of the worst in television history. The bizarre Thanksgiving episode not only features an overflowing toilet, but also fails to contain a single scene with Miranda, Carrie and Charlotte on-screen together. Instead the third season's bland storylines are wrapped up with a pie montage and Carrie dancing through her giant, empty Gramercy house.

And Just Like That ends with a Thanksgiving episode in which Miranda's big thanksgiving dinner gets derailed by various emergencies so that Carrie has to spend the holiday with Charlotte's boss, Mark Kasabian (Victor Garber), Miranda's son Brady (Niall Cunningham) Brady's baby mama and two of her friends (one named Epcot). When Epcot eats too much cheese and repeatedly uses the bathroom in Miranda's apartment, only to have the toilet backup (turds on screen) while Mark is washing his hands. Miranda then returns to clean up the poop, and Carrie goes back to her Gramercy mansion.
Without Duncan (Jonathan Cake) downstairs, Carrie walks around her apartment wearing her high heels and dancing to "You're the First, the Last, My Everything" by Barry White. She eats the pumpkin filling out of the pie (no crust), while a montage of her co-stars also eating pie plays, and then she proceeds upstairs where she re-writes the epilogue to her historical novel to read, "The woman realized she was not alone - she was on her own." The episode ends with a shot of her dancing down the hallway.

Who does Carrie Bradshaw end up with in the And Just Like That series finale?
No one! With Mr. Big (Chris Noth) dead and Aiden (John Corbett) gone after the pair's third breakup, it seemed possible that Carrie would end up with her downstairs neighbor Duncan. However, the two parted ways at the end of Episode 10, and he did not return. Rather Carrie seems to be reluctantly coming to terms with the fact that she could be single forever. However, rather than ending on a triumphant note of friendship (which has been the thru-line of the entire series), And Just Like That ends in a semi-bleak spot with Carrie bracing to spend life "on her own."

While Miranda is the host of the thanksgiving dinner, she must vacate her apartment early on because her girlfriend Joy's (Dolly Wells) dog is sick. After cleaning up her bathroom, Miranda and Joy eat pie together. Miranda and Steve (David Eigenberg) also got a friendly dinner earlier in the episode.

Post-prostate cancer, Harry (Evan Handler) has been unable to grow an erection. During the pie montage at the end of the episode, the Goldenblatts eat pie and look at photos of Rock (Alexa Swinton) in their Thoroughly Modern Millie costume.

LTW (Nicole Ari Parker) finally landed Michelle Obama as the narrator of her docu-series in the finale. While she's been flirting with her editor all season, the finale ends with her recommitting to her relationship with her husband Herbert (Chris Jackson).

No. While Kim Cattrall's Samantha did make an appearance in Season 2, she did not show up at all in Season 3 and was not mentioned in the finale at all.

None, really. Both David Eigenberg's Steve and Victor Garber's Mark appeared in the finale, but both have been featured in multiple episodes of the show. No other favorites from either Sex and the City or And Just Like That made appearances.
