An award-winning actress is sharing a "precious" memory to reflect on her health journey of late.
Mo'Niquetook to Instagram this weekend to highlight her 100-pound weight loss and drop in blood pressure, as Us reported.
On Sunday, Aug. 24, she posted a throwback photo of her with husband Sidney Hicks, with an emotional caption to emphasize her journey.
"HEY MY SWEET BABIES," the Academy Award-winning performer's caption begins. "IN THIS PICTURE I WAS OVER 300 ILBS WITH HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE ALMOST 20 YEARS LATER IM NOW CLOSER TO 200 ILBS AND NO LONGER HAVE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE."
The caption continues, "AS WE STAND TOGETHER 20 YEARS LATER WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE AT LEAST 40 MORE TOGETHER AND TO DO THAT WE MUST CONTINUE TO PUT THE WORK IN IF YOU HAVE SOMEONE IN YOUR LIFE WORTH FIGHTING FOR THEN FIGHT FOR THEM AS THEY FIGHT FOR YOU IN THE MOST LOVING, GENTLE, KIND WAY I LOVE US 4REAL!"
Fans were quick to show their appreciation of the celebrated performer, 57, who won Oscar gold for her role in Lee Daniels' 2009 film Precious.
"At every shape/size u are so beautiful 🤎," wrote one Instagram user in the comments section of Mo'Nique's post.

As Us noted, Mo'Nique has been open about her weight-loss goals in the past, dating back to the 2010s.
"The journey's been amazing because it truly lets you know what you're made of," Mo'Nique told Hello Beautiful in March 2014. "People always say, 'Mo'Nique, what motivates you?' I had to do it for my husband and my children. And I had to get out of my own way."
