Beyoncé's Cécred hair care line is doubling down on its commitment to healthy hair with the launch of its new Protection Collection.

It features five new products and will become available on Aug. 25. Made with proprietary PhytoFerment technology, the line includes a scalp spray priced at $38, a detoxifying shampoo going for $39, a detangling spray at $28, an oil treatment for $48 and hair and scalp balm with a $36 price tag.

The collection is designed to tackle the challenges of wearing protective hairstyles and extensions. Beyoncé's mom and and vice chairwoman of the brand Tina Knowles told Forbes, "This collection is very personal for my daughter because she's lived these challenges her whole life."

She added that over the years, Beyoncé — like many folks — has experimented with different wigs, weaves, braids and extensions, often creating her own remedies when existing products fell short.

"Touring with Beyoncé, even back in the Destiny's Child days, working in my salon, and now in our Cécred salon, I see so much damage related to the take-down of protective styles," Knowles said. "It was frustrating for us to see how the end look of the protective style was always prioritized over how to take care of it. There was nothing on the market that I could give to my daughter or recommend to my clients. Nothing had the science or performance we needed. This collection is about chasing down this white space we've known existed for so long, and finally giving people the advanced care and confidence we all deserve."

Beyoncé celebrates the launch of her hair care line CÉCRED with her mother, Tina Knowles.

Earlier this year, the brand marked its one year anniversary by expanding into retail stores and rolling out products to over 1,400 Ulta Beauty stores nationwide and online.

Beyoncé launched Cécred in 2024 with a focus on all hair types and textures. She first teased the new business venture in May 2023 in an Instagram about growing up in her mom's hair salon.

"I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls," Beyoncé wrote. "I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I've always dreamed of carrying on her legacy."
