Drew Barrymore surprised Katherine Heigl with one absolutely *paw*-some gift on Thursday's episode of *The Drew Barrymore Show*. **
The *Fever Pitch* actress and daytime TV host presented the *Grey's Anatomy* alum with a dog bowl with Liam Neeson's face on the inside of it.
The reason? Barrymore found out that Heigl named one of her dogs after the *Taken* actor.**
Earlier in the segment, Heigl explained that she had adopted three puppies right around St. Patrick's Day. "So one of them we named Liam Neeson," she said, "because, you know, he's Irish!"

Heigl added that she would have named her other dog after Pamela Anderson if she had known about the romance rumors surrounding the *Naked Gun *costars when she first adopted the puppies. **
Neeson isn't the first actor that Heigl and her husband, Josh Kelley, have named a pet after, either. "I have Elora Danan — that was Josh's choice from the movie *Willow*," she said. "And then the last one is Clara Rose. And then I have a Birdee Calvert, after Sandra Bullock's character in *Hope Floats*. I love that movie so much."**
Barrymore — who is the proud owner of several pets, including her dog Douglas and bearded dragon Jeremy — was obsessed with the idea of naming pets after celebrities.**
"I love this so much that we actually made you a custom bowl for Mr. Liam Neeson," she said, pulling out a yellow dish and tilting it down to reveal an image of Neeson printed on the bottom. "And, by the way, when he gets down to the bottom of it, he can lick his face!"

To say Heigl was surprised by the reveal would be an understatement. "This is so amazing!" she exclaimed. "I'm not giving that to the dogs — I'm keeping that!"

Barrymore later reflected on her experience meeting the man Liam Neeson with Heigl, Valerie Bertinelli, and Ross Mathews as part of her show's recurring Memory Bank segment.**

"I just have to say that he is the nicest, most incredible human being," she gushed. "I don't think there is anyone out there who deserves happiness more. He is a gracious, cool, awesome human being, and I was so lucky to know him back in the day."
She continued, "Liam Neeson, if you're out there anywhere, I just hope that you are as happy as you deserve to be because you are a phenomenal human being."**
Grabbing the dog bowl, Barrymore added, "And! We love you! We love you so much, and we love to honor you in every way."**
