Lamar Jackson and Baltimore Ravens at least got one piece of good news from their mortifying season opener.
The NFL confirmed Thursday that the Ravens quarterback will not receive any league discipline for an incident in which he shoved a Buffalo Bills fan in the stands after the fan hit him and teammate DeAndre Hopkins in the helmet, via the Washington Post's Marke Maske:
"The matter has been addressed by the club and there is no further action from the league," NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said.
Meanwhile, the Bills fan remains indefinitely banned from all NFL stadiums.
The incident in question occurred after a Jackson-to-Hopkins touchdown pass in the third quarter of the "Sunday Night Football" opener at Highmark Stadium. A group of Ravens players walked along the wall around the field, at which point the seemingly irate Bills fan shoved his hand into the helmets of the two players.

Jackson has apologized for the incident, but with the added advice of "Just chill next time."
The game ultimately ended badly for the Ravens, who began their season 0-1 by allowing 22 fourth-quarter points to the Bills. It was a standout game for Jackson overall, though, with 209 yards and two touchdowns on 14-of-19 passing plus 70 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
