For three quarters, it looked like the same, old Cleveland Browns. Cleveland was scoreless against a tough Green Bay Packers defense, and found themselves down 10-0 entering the final quarter.

Then the defense decided to take things to another level. Grant Delpit intercepted a Jordan Love pass late in the contest and Cleveland blocked a field-goal attempt to pick up the last-second, 13-10 victory over the Packers.

The Browns' defense came through with the game on the line. Despite being down by 10 points in the final quarter, the defense rallied to keep the Packers off the scoreboard. After forcing Green Bay to punt on two straight drives to begin the quarter, the Browns finally put some points on the board, picking up a field goal to cut the Packers' lead to 10-3.

With the Packers looking to extend their lead, Delpit intercepted a poor pass from Love to pick up the turnover. Delpit nearly scored on the play, taking the ball down to the 4-yard line. After a penalty, Browns running back Quinshon Judkins tied things up with a touchdown from a yard out.

After working so hard to get back into the game, it looked like the Browns would throw away their lead. A strong kickoff return by the Packers and some timely completions from Love set up Green Bay for a 43-yard, game-winning field goal with just seconds left to play.

But once again, the Browns defense stepped up. The team blocked Brandon McManus' kick and recovered the ball, setting up Cleveland for the surprise win. It was an incredible reversal of fortune.

After recovering the ball, the Browns still needed to pick up some yards before kicking a potential game-winning field goal. They almost ran out of time. After a quick 3-yard completion, Joe Flacco hit tight end David Njoku for an 8-yard pass to get the Browns in position for a 55-yard field goal. But with no timeouts remaining, the Browns needed to huddle up on the ball immediately and snap it.

They got it down with just two seconds to play.

That brought in rookie kicker Andre Szmyt, who had missed a field goal that would have given the Browns the lead late in their season-opening loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. With the game on the line, the rookie came through. Szmyt drilled a 55-yard field goal as time expired to give Cleveland the narrow 13-10 win.

It was an unexpected victory for the Browns — and not just because they trailed by 10 points in the final quarter. The Browns entered the game as one of the most picked-against teams in Yahoo Sports' survivor contest, with 17.43 percent of fans taking the Packers in Week 3.

It's yet another reminder that anything can happen on an NFL Sunday. It's also a reminder that close games can change on a dime when you have a dominant defense.
