<p>The 2025 rookie wide receiver class is buzzing with potential. These new faces are already climbing redraft boards due to explosive athleticism, early playing time projections, and offenses that need playmakers now. Here's who to keep an eye on this season.</p>

While Cleveland hasn't committed to a full-time WR role, the No. 2 overall pick already has enough props like 13 catches for 100 yards on sportsbooks. He's expected to line up mostly on offense, where he racked up elite route wins and showed explosive YAC ability at Colorado. He's the type of rookie that makes defenders and fantasy owners nervous for very different reasons.</p>

Egbuka is a zone coverage killer with sticky hands, and if Chris Godwin's health concerns linger, there's a path to 100+ targets. He's being drafted outside the top 100 in home leagues, which is pure value for a potential weekly starter in PPR-heavy formats.</p>

He broke tackles like a running back and was one of the most consistent separators on short and intermediate routes in college. Reception Perception gave him high marks, and he's currently battling for slot work behind Jakobi Meyers.</p>

<p>Rashee Rice's status is murky, and that opens the door for Jalen Royals. The Chiefs nabbed him late, but he posted a 93rd percentile 10-yard split and excels on slants and curls, routes Kansas City uses frequently. Royals' college role mirrored Rice's: limited tree, heavy YAC potential.</p>

<p>C.J. Stroud has plenty of weapons, but Jaden Higgins is quietly rising. As a top-40 NFL Draft pick, Higgins could lock down the outside WR2 spot opposite Nico Collins. While Christian Kirk is expected to start, Higgins's size and physicality fit what the Texans need in 12 personnel.</p>

<p>If there's a rookie who could sneak into relevance, it's Kyle Williams. He brings what New England needs: sharp cuts, quick separation, and reliable hands. With Kendrick Bourne on the mend and the depth chart full of placeholders, Williams could carve out a role simply by doing the basics well. Drake Maye's short-area accuracy only helps his chances to stick early.</p>

His main issue is Jacobi Meyers being in the way, but any injury or change in formation could swing the opportunity in his direction. The Raiders are young, messy, and rebuilding, which means upside comes cheap.</p>

<p>The Titans' WR depth chart beyond Calvin Ridley is wide open. Elic Ayomanor, despite inconsistencies in college, brings size, strength, and a fearless run-after-catch mentality. If he tightens up his drops and route feel, there's a shot he's the WR2 by midseason. Tennessee's expected to throw more under Brian Callahan, and with no clear second option, Ayomanor could be this year's Romeo Doubs.</p>

<p>Xavier Restrepo has incredible chemistry with rookie QB Cameron Ward. While he clocked an ugly 4.85-second 40-yard dash, his game has never been about straight-line speed. He's a chain-moving slot technician with a knack for finding soft spots in the zone.</p>

<p>Injuries kept Tory Horton off the pre-draft radar, but his skill set makes him tough to ignore. His deep tracking ability and quick release off the line are precisely what Seattle's WR depth lacks. With Tyler Lockett aging and no clear successor locked in, Horton has a real shot to leap the depth chart. A strong preseason could put him firmly in the WR4 conversation.</p>

<p>Don't forget about Jalen Noel. He profiles as a vertical slot receiver with solid contested-catch numbers despite his smaller frame. While Christian Kirk is currently locked in as the Jaguars' slot man, Noel is a great insurance pick who could sneak onto the field in three-WR sets. He was a consistent separator at Iowa State and could benefit if Jacksonville opens up its offense even more under Trevor Lawrence.</p>
