Cheers Star George Wendt spoke fondly of his nephew and godson Jason Sudeikis prior to his death at 76. Wendt — who played the beloved Norm Peterson on the hit NBC show from 1982-1993 — passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday. Last year in June the iconic actor said he was 'very proud' of Sudeikis, 49, calling him a 'great kid' while appearing on the Still Here Hollywood podcast with Steve Kmetko.
