A young Florida man has revealed how he caught a humongous 13-foot-long tiger shark and later swam with the predator in the middle of the night. Mason Carson went fishing with some friends off the coast of Sarasota County when he caught the sharp-toothed shark. 'Typically, we get a lot of bull sharks, a lot of blacktips. During the winter time, we'll get a lot of sandbar sharks, and occasionally, we'll get tigers and hammers — but not typically tigers this big,' he said.

A glamorous skydiver who died alongside her instructor in a freak weather event last week has been identified as a restaurant server. Kayla Kieko Black, 28, was pronounced dead at a Riverside County hospital on Saturday - just one day after she and her skydiving instructor hit twin 'dust devils' at around 40 feet above ground. Dust devils are small tornadoes that form in areas of strong surface heating, like Arizona, when there are clear skies and light winds, according to the National Weather Service.

Outraged ranchers in a Texas rural town are fighting to stop a fellow resident from using fertilizer with an absolutely revolting ingredient. The owner of more than 200 acres of land in Canton, a town of 4,500 people in Van Zandt County, has filed for a permit with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to toss biosolids all over his property. Biosolids, also called sewage sludge, is a fertilizer made with human waste from wastewater treatment plants.
