Joe Biden Slammed For Creating Disinformation Governance Board

During his testimony before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Homeland Security Wednesday, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas revealed that a Disinformation Governance Board had recently been created to fight the spread of disinformation online.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki confirmed the existence of the board, and stressed that President Joe Biden supported its creation.

Critics are now likening the newly-created body to 1984's Ministry of Truth and slamming it as an embodiment of the Biden administration's dystopian opposition to free speech.

Dictator Biden

Responding to the creation of the Disinformation Governance Board, several prominent Republican figures likened Biden to some of history's most notorious dictators.

"Adolf Hitler had a Ministry of Truth. Joseph Goebbels had a Ministry of Truth. Joseph Stalin had a Ministry of Truth. Joseph Biden has a Ministry of Truth," Republican congressional candidate Errol Webber said, per Newsweek.

Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York echoed these sentiments.

"The Biden administration just took one more step towards Communism. DHS’ 'Ministry of Truth' is a crackdown on our Constitutional right to Free Speech," she tweeted.

Orwellian Nightmare

Donald Trump Jr., former President Donald Trump's eldest son, also brought up the fictional department from George Orwell's 1984.

"Historically, was there ever a despotic regime that didn’t have the equivalent of a Ministry Of Truth?" he asked.

Republican Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas, meanwhile, stressed that the federal government "has no business creating a Ministry of Truth."

"The Department of Homeland Security's 'Disinformation Board' is unconstitutional and unAmerican, and I'll be introducing a bill to defund it," Cotton said.

Left-wing journalist Glenn Greenwald took to Twitter to slam Biden and other Democrats.

"That the Biden Admin casually announced today that the Dept of Homeland Security -- a domestic security agency -- has created a 'disinformation' board is indescribably dystopian and chilling. That Democrats think this is good and normal tells you all you need to know about them."

As Greenwald noted, Biden tapped a controversial figure to head the Disinformation Governance Board -- alleged "disinformation expert" Nina Jankowicz.

Who Is Nina Jankowicz?

As a global fellow at the nonpartisan Wilson Center, Jankowicz wrote the 2020 book How to Lose the Information War: Russia, Fake News, and the Future of Conflict.

However, Jankowicz herself has been caught peddling false and misleading information online.

For example, she repeatedly claimed that the documents found on the laptop belonging to Hunter Biden were fabricated and part of a Russian disinformation campaign.

Biden and other Democrats spread the same discredited conspiracy theory during the 2020 election.

Christina Ricci Talks 'Yellowjackets' Fan Theories On 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'

Christina Ricci is responding to some of the crazy fan theories about her successful new series Yellowjackets. During yesterday's appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, everyone's favorite Wednesday Addams (no offense to Chloë Grace Moretz, she did a wonderful job in the 2019 and 2021 animated films), who plays Misty in the Showtime drama, discussed some of the suppositions fans have been sharing online about the show, which has been renewed for a second season that starts filming in August.

The Casper and Sleepy Hollow star put at least a couple of those theories to rest and made several big revelations along the way. She later posted a clip from her talk with Fallon on Instagram showcasing all the juicy highlights.

'Do They Eat Shauna's Baby?'

If you haven't seen Yellowjackets yet, be advised there are some heavy spoilers ahead.

For those fearing the fate of Shauna (played by Melanie Lynskey) and her baby, Ricci had some reassuring words. According to the actress, fans can expect to see the little one safe and sound in Season 2, as the group won't be showing any cannibalistic tendencies toward the baby.

Ricci confirmed she passed this particular fan theory -- which she thought "was so insane" -- by the show writers in order to get a straight answer, confessing it did seem plausible in some respects.

"I was like, 'Why would we eat the baby?' And then I thought, well, we are really ashamed --everybody else is, like, really haunted by what they did, so maybe we do eat the baby," she told Fallon.

'Misty Is A Present-Day Serial Killer'

While Ricci went straight to the source to shed light on the "Shauna's baby" theory, she had only her personal opinion to share regarding Misty being a present-day serial killer. As it turns out, she actually agrees with this one, and she didn't mince her words explaining why.

"I mean, she casually murders somebody, and she has a bunker ready for kidnap victims," she told Fallon. "I mean, that bunker was ready to go, pretty much. I would say that she's probably done it before."

The actress clarified: "But I don't know. Like, all of this is just my opinion because they don't tell me anything."

'Misty Caused The Plane To Crash'

This next fan theory wasn't covered in Ricci's Instagram post but she did have some pretty interesting things to say about it. While some fans believe Misty caused the plane crash that landed the high schoolers deep in the Ontario wilderness, the actress has a different opinion.

"We saw her in that episode, and she looked very surprised. Right? She looked shocked," she explained. Admitting that it "could've been a performance" after all, she pointed out that "she's not an actor, she's on a plane that's going down with the soccer team."

'Misty Is Working Under Lottie'

Of all the fan theories circled on the internet, one hypothesis that Ricci found "interesting" was that Misty has been working under Lottie (Courtney Eaton) and her henchmen and henchwomen this whole time.

"I think that is possible," she said on The Tonight Show, "but I don't know."

"They don't tell us anything," she continued, adding: "Some things seem more possible [than others]."

After the death of longtime Alaska Congressman Don Young, GOP politician Sarah Palin announced her candidacy in the 2022 special election for his congressional seat.

Palin, who served as the governor of Alaska, enjoys the support of former President Donald Trump and several other prominent conservative figures.

But 15 other candidates are running for the same seat -- and Santa Claus is one of them.

Santa Claus For Congress

Based in the North Pole, a town of 2,000 in Alaska, Santa Claus looks just like the legendary character.

As reported by The Guardian, he won a city council seat in 2015 and has since been described as "a bastion of blue on a city council as red as Rudolph’s nose."

A supporter of independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, Claus is a strong progressive who believes healthcare is a human right, and fights for racial justice, corporate accountability, and free elections.

And yes, Santa Claus is indeed his legal name.

Palin Vs. Claus

Claus met Palin when she was governor, and they got along well.

"We met very briefly, but she had set up a meeting with six of her different department heads, which was quite unusual for a governor to do. So I was appreciative," he said, describing the Republican as "very nice, very helpful to me."

However, Claus noted that he and Palin are on the opposite ends of the political spectrum.

"Now that she’s been endorsed by Trump... let me put it this way: being a Bernie supporter, we have disparate views on a variety of subjects."Why Santa Claus?

Claus changed his name from Tom O’Connor back in 2005.

As he pondered his life and prayed for guidance, somebody shouted, "Santa, I love you!" -- and he interpreted that as an answer to his prayers.

"That’s about as fast an answer to your prayer as I’d probably ever get. So next day, I called up the county clerk to change my name legally," Claus explained.

But that doesn't mean he greets and gifts children for Christmas. "I tend to interact more with adults with respect to legislation," he told The Guardian.

Palin Can Win

Polls suggest that Palin has a good chance of winning Alaska's special election.

As reported by Forbes, a recent survey found that 31 percent of Alaskans would vote for Palin, which put her above any other candidate.

Independent candidate Al Gross, who is backed by Democrats, came in second in the same survey, while Republican Nick Begich came in third with 21 percent of the vote.

This time, the New England Patriots coach shocked the world by taking OG Cole Strange out of Chatanooga with the 29th overall pick.

It Wasn't A Reach, Says Belichick

The Pats traded down with the Kansas City Chiefs, making this pick somewhat more head-scratching. Even so, Belichick thinks Strange would've been off the board if they didn't rush to get him:

“Yeah, he wouldn’t have lasted much longer,” Belichick said. “If we had stayed at 21, then we would have obviously picked somebody. Probably a good chance it would have been him. There were several teams that we talked to prior to when we made the trade. There were some other conversations going on there, but ultimately that’s the one we chose. Glad Cole was there when we picked, and I feel like we made the best decision that we could at 21.”Belichick Is Quite High On Him

Strange wasn't the highest-toted prospect in this class by any means. But, his new coach seems to be ecstatic about having him on board.

“He’s long, he’s athletic. He’s physically tough. He’s an aggressive player,” Belichick said. “I think he has a good combination of skills, run and pass, movement, length, strength, again, all of which will hopefully get better, like they will with any player coming from college to the National Football League. I think he has a good skill set, and he’s a smart player that makes a lot of good decisions on the interior line there, timing, when to come off, and combo blocks, things like that.”Mac Jones Is Glad To Have Him On Board

Moreover, sophomore QB Mac Jones also seemed quite excited about his new first-round colleague. Suddenly after his selection, Jones invited him to dinner:

MLB News: Texas Rangers Struggling Despite Offseason Moves

Coming into the 2022 MLB season, everybody thought that the Texas Rangers would be one of the top teams in all of baseball because of the moves they made during the offseason. Texas decided to go out and get two superstar middle infielders in Corey Seager and Marcus Semien, but those moves have not paid off yet.

The Rangers currently have the worst record in the American League, sitting at 6-13.

Corey Seager Struggling In New Uniform

Corey Seager has been regarded as one of the top shortstops in all of baseball. Unfortunately, Seager has had to go through some brutal injuries throughout his career. He's only played in over 100 games three times throughout his career, but when he is on the field, there's certainly an argument that he is the top shortstop in the game.

With the Texas Rangers, he's hitting .257 with only two home runs and 13 strikeouts through 74 at-bats. This isn't too bad, but for a guy that's making as much money as Corey Seager and has the reputation of being one of the best players in baseball, he needs to be better.

Seager's best year came during the 2016 season when he hit .308 with 26 home runs for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Marcus Semien Playing The Worst He Ever Has

Marcus Semien was one of the best players in baseball a season ago, as he finished in the top three in MVP voting after he hit .265 with 45 home runs and 102 RBIs. Throughout his career with the Oakland Athletics, he showed some power, including hitting 33 home runs in the 2019 season, but this was undoubtedly his best year as a professional.

Semien is now hitting just .158 with the Texas Rangers in 76 at-bats, including striking out 17 times and not hitting any home runs.

Root Of The Rangers Problems

The root of all the problems for the Texas Rangers is their below-average pitching. The Rangers currently have the fourth-worst ERA in all of baseball at 4.74 and have also allowed hitters to leave the yard against them 28 times, which leads the MLB.

In Major League Baseball, if you want to be a team that finds success, it all starts on the mound.

Can Texas Turn Their Season Around?

Quite frankly, it would be unlikely at the moment if the Texas Rangers do start figuring this thing out. They have some of the best offensive players in baseball, and it's to be expected that both Marcus Semien and Corey Seager, along with some others, will get going eventually.

However, with their below-average pitching staff, it's tough to say that the Rangers will find the type of success that people thought they were going to this season.

The jumpsuit's pants hugged her hips and thighs and then flared at the knees down to her ankles, forming a bell bottom. Berry complemented her outfit with gold platform heels, gold hoop earrings, and rings from Pasquale Bruni.

Back In Business

The 55-year-old actress revealed that she's working on a new Netflix project with Mark Wahlberg and said it's been a lifelong dream.

MLB Rumors: 3 Mets Players That Could Be Traded Soon

Even though it's still early in the 2022 Major League Baseball season, the New York Mets already look like a firm candidate to compete for the World Series.

They have the best record in baseball, arguably the best rotation, and their offense has clicked more often than not. Then again, even good things could be improved, and the team from Flushing isn't the exception to that rule.

The Mets Could Make Some Moves

Steve Cohen has shown that he won't hesitate to spend big bucks or make bold moves if that's what it takes to lead the Mets to the top. He's set to pay quite a bit on taxes, yet he hasn't shut the door on adding even more talent for Buck Showalter's roster.

With that in mind, and taking into consideration that they have a pretty deep roster, let's take a look at the three players they could part ways with:

Dominic Smith

Dominic Smith has failed to live up to the expectations as a once-elite prospect. Also, they already have Mark Canha, Pete Alonso, and Robinson Cano for the LF, 1B, and DH spots, respectively.

Even so, Smith is quite young, is on a team-friendly contract, and is versatile enough to gauge plenty of interest around the Majors. His offense hasn't taken off just yet, but all he needs is more playing time and at-bats to finally prove what he's capable of.

J.D. Davis

Just like Smith, the Mets no longer need J.D. Davis. He was once the team's third baseman for Opening Day, yet Eduardo Escobar has outplayed him and looks like a much better player overall.

Also, just like Smith, there's no place for him on the LF or DH spots with Canha and Cano holding onto the spots, so there's not much use for him.

Even so, Davis is a solid hitter who can do a lot of damage regardless of the pitcher's handedness. His defense isn't quite there, but the universal DH spot gives him hope to find a new home by the end of the season.

Jeff McNeil

Jeff McNeil is the best player of the three we just mentioned and the most versatile. He can play on both sides of the outfield and cover the second base with great defensive instincts, yet his case isn't that different from Davis' or Smith's.

McNeil is talented enough to impact Showalter's team as a utility player, yet he's too good and too valuable not to be an everyday player. That could prompt multiple teams to try and reach out to him and get him on a team-friendly deal, so the Mets could at least be tempted to consider parting ways with him.

The Green Bay Packers were one of the biggest losers on the first day of the NFL Draft. They landed a couple of promising defenders, yet they didn't address their most significant area of need for this offseason.

Aaron Rodgers claims that the team kept him posted on their decisions before submitting their picks, yet he may not be that pleased with the decision they went in.

No One Wants To Trade With Packers

Still, Rodgers thinks that it's not all the Packers' fault. Apparently, other teams are unwilling to engage in trades with them:

“I think we’ve been in the mix with some of these guys. That’s what it seems like,” Rodgers said on The Pat McAfee Show. “Now, there’s not a lot of teams that probably want to trade receivers to Green Bay. I think we’re probably at the back of the line for a lot of these teams as far as our picks are usually late and nobody wants to trade in the (conference), a guy like Deebo (Samuel) probably."Packers Won't Get Deebo Samuel, Says Rodgers

With that in mind, it's highly unlikely that the 49ers will agree to trade Deebo Samuel to a direct rival like them, so Rodgers all but shut down that rumor right away:

"Now there are some veteran guys out there that I think could be possibilities, and also we have two picks in the second round tomorrow, and I’m sure there are some guys on the board that they probably like. Yeah, I feel like we’ve been in the mix, but does San Fran want to trade Deebo Samuel to us? Probably not," Rodgers sentenced.Rodgers Thought Adams Would Stay

Rodgers was aware of this possibility. He knew Adams wasn't happy in Green Bay and that he wanted to leave. However, he always thought he'd run it back for at least another year:

“Obviously, when I made my decision I was still thinking he was going to come back,” Rodgers admitted. “I was very honest with him about my plans and my future and where I saw my career going, as far as how many years I want to play. But I felt like he was going to be back."What's Next For Green Bay?

The Packers didn't use either of their two first-round picks to draft a receiver or trade for a star. Their receiving corps is quite limited in talent, and the front office has shown little-to-no interest in solving that issue.

So, even if they got their QB back for the long run, the Packers don't look like a better team today than last season.

'RHOM' Producer Dishes On Adriana De Moura And Julia Lemigova's Flirty Relationship

Fans of Real Housewives of Miami's reboot season got up close and personal with a new friendship. Joining the series for the first time was the wife of tennis star Martina Navratilova, Julia Lemigova. Her friendship with long-time cast member Adriana de Moura raised eyebrows for its flirty nature.

However, a producer of RHOM is setting the record straight about their close relationship. Pamela Gimenez (VP of Current Production on "RHOM") told Bravo's Daily Dish Podcast:

"I think they have a really solid friendship. I think that, unfortunately, we don't see sometimes women supporting each other. There’s always conflict and drama. And, you know, we all have conflict and drama in our friendships, but I do see they are 100 percent the Thelma and Louise of each other."

Because Crews was unavailable to appear on the episode, Meyers and his late-night team made sure his presence was felt by placing the cutout, which features motorized pecks that simulated Crews' signature peck-bounce.

After hearing the story, and sharing a couple of laughs as they looked back, Crews and Meyers discussed the statue Crews has of himself at his home.

Serial Killer Todd Kohlhepp: An Examination Of His Violent Past

In many instances, serial killers are able to hide in plain sight for years. Whether they decide to act like a family man or simply live a quiet life in a suburb, it's not unusual for these criminals to find ways to blend into the background. This is exactly what Todd Kohlhepp did for many years before his dark past finally caught up to him.

Early Life

In 1971, Todd Christopher Sampsell was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. After his parents divorced when he was two, he was adopted by his mother's new husband, Carl Kohlhepp, in 1976. However, the adoption was not an easy transition for Kohlhepp as he reportedly hated his stepfather and wanted to instead live with his biological father.

In addition to that unhappiness, Kohlhepp experienced abuse at the hand of his grandfather as well as it has been said that he would hit him with a cattle prod.

During his childhood, Kohlhepp himself began to display concerning behavioral issues as the family relocated to South Carolina and Georgia. This included bullying his classmates, destroying their school projects, and being kicked out of the Boy Scouts. This later escalated to killing a goldfish with bleach and shooting a dog with a BB gun. Eventually, he was referred to the Behavior Evaluation Center at the Georgia Mental Health Institute by the time he was eight or nine.

First Arrest

After expressing a desire to live with his biological dad, his wish was finally granted in 1983. During his mother's second divorce, he was sent to Tempe, Arizona. However, this did not create the idyllic experienced that some may have envisioned. It was during this period of his life that he committed his first known crime. On November 25, 1986, Kohlhepp, 15, forced a 14-year-old girl into his home at gunpoint, bound her, and raped her.

Even though Kohlhepp had threatened to kill the girl's family if she revealed what he had done, police were quickly notified. Within hours, he was arrested and charged with both kidnapping and sexual assault.

As a result of his horrific actions, Kohlhepp was sentenced to 15 years in prison in 1987. Even though he was a minor at the time, he fulfilled his sentence at an adult prison. However, by accepting a plea deal he was able to dismiss the sexual assault charge and simply register as a sex offender. This provided the opportunity to redesign his life once he exited the penitentiary.

Creating His Public Image

After leaving prison in August 2001, Kohlhepp, then 30, relocated to Spartanburg, South Carolina. Even though his resume was filled with falsified employment history, he had still been able to earn two bachelor’s degrees in computer science and business before becoming a real estate broker.

By slipping through the cracks in the system, Kohlhepp was able to craft a lifestyle that appeared quite normal to outsiders. As a result of his success, he then began buying properties, including a home and 95 acres in a secluded area of Woodruff, South Carolina for $305,632. This place would become pivotal in putting an end to his crime spree.

Discovering Kohlhepp's Secrets

In August 2016, Kohlhepp hired Kala Brown and her boyfriend Charles Carver to complete various tasks on his Woodruff property. However, after going with him to complete their jobs, they became unreachable. This was when Spartanburg County police were alerted and they opened an investigation into their whereabouts. At that time, law enforcement officials traced their cell phones, which both pinged in the general area of Kohlhepp's home.

After traveling to the residence and beginning a search, police heard banging sounds from inside a shipping container. It was then that they discovered Brown, who informed them that she had been raped and chained inside for nearly two months. She later testified that Kohlhepp had also shot Carver in front of her before she was kidnapped.

Additional Crimes

After being placed under arrest, Kohlhepp led officials to two other bodies that were buried on his property, 29-year-old Johnny Joe Coxie, and 26-year-old Meagan Leigh McCraw-Coxie. The couple had been missing since December 2015 and had reportedly agreed to clean his rental properties prior to their disappearances.

While in police custody, Kohlhepp also confessed to killing four people at the Superbike Motorsports motorcycle shop in 2003. This had been a cold case for over a decade. At that time, Kohlhepp had shot four employees in under a minute after they had supposedly teased him about a motorcycle he had purchased.

Ultimate Charges And Conviction

Kohlhepp eventually faced 14 charges including murder, criminal sexual conduct, and kidnapping. On May 26, 2017, he pleaded guilty and received seven consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole.

While Kohlhepp could have potentially faced the death penalty, going that route would have forced the victims' families to wait years for their long-awaited justice. Instead, the parties opted for life sentences. Kohlhepp is serving time at the Broad River Correctional Facility in Columbia, South Carolina.

For the talented wide receiver, this means letting go of his links to previous teams and locations, prompting him to put his Columbia Station, Ohio house on the market. 

Odell purchased the property for $1.6 million and remodeled it after signing with the Cleveland Browns in 2019. According to Realtor.com, he is asking for $3.3 million for the 2.1-acre property.

A few weeks after the Green Bay Packers surprisingly traded star wideout, Davante Adams, to the Las Vegas Raiders, a report emerged detailing the team's potential interest in Pro Bowl tight end Darren Waller.

It didn't take long for the 29-year-old to respond to the chatter.

Packers Trade Rumors Swirl Around Darren Waller

The Packers' decision to trade Adams has put the team in desperate need to add legitimate passing game threats.

Green Bay is expected to add talent through the upcoming draft. However, a report from Aaron Nagler of Cheesehead TV laid out that the team attempted to acquire Waller as part of the Adams' trade.

The Packers were unsuccessful, but the team has talked to the Raiders again about the star tight end for a deal before this week's draft. The chatter has led Waller to address the rumors.

Darren Waller Shoots Down Packers Trade Rumors

It didn't take long for the Raiders' star tight end to address the chatter.

During an interview with CBS Sports Radio's Zach Gelb on Tuesday, Waller completely shot down any validity to the trade chatter.

"Yeah, I've had talks with the team and they said that's not a thing that's happening and there's no trade that's going to happen," Waller said via NFL.com. "Like I said, we're just focusing on football."

Taking Waller by his word, it sounds like he is part of the team's long-term future plans, especially after the surprising trade for Adams. If anything, the Raiders will work quickly to get him secured under an extension to keep him paired alongside Adams and Derek Carr.

Raiders Remain Committed To Darren Waller

The Raiders have been busy this offseason adding to the roster, hoping to build off their first playoff berth in five years.

Among those moves was signing Carr to a three-year, $121.5 million extension that runs through the 2025 campaign. The former Pro Bowler inked the deal wanting to keep enough space to further secure the roster around him.

Waller certainly falls under that umbrella, as he holds two years left on his deal, making $6.25 million in base salary each season. Although he's coming off an injury-plagued campaign, recording 55 catches for 665 receiving yards and two touchdowns, he remains one of the game's best tight ends.

The 29-year-old is a key cog in the offense behind his game-changing ability, sitting a season removed from back-to-back 1,000-yard campaigns. All that should lead to Waller getting a lucrative payday to keep him in tow in Las Vegas for years to come.

Packers Will Explore Other Options

As much as Aaron Rodgers and the Packers would welcome a trade for Waller, the team has other avenues to address their passing game.

The front office can explore free agency, as several prominent players such as Julio Jones and Odell Beckham Jr. remain unsigned. The more likely option lies through the 2022 NFL Draft, as the team has four picks in the first 60 selections, including a pair of first-round picks.

The Packers will have several opportunities to solidify their passing game options for their star quarterback well before the 2022 season.

In his recent piece, Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer discussed several Simmons-centered trade ideas that the Nets could explore this summer. These include a hypothetical blockbuster deal that would send him to Space City.

“Perhaps a young team like Houston would revisit a Simmons trade since his trajectory is on the same timeline as Jalen Green. A package with some combination of Eric Gordon, Jae’Sean Tate, and Christian Wood with draft picks could provide Brooklyn with the necessary depth and versatility to make other moves," O'Connor said.

Proposed Trade A No-Brainer For Nets

If they are presented with that type of offer in the 2022 NBA offseason, the Nets are expected to immediately accept the trade. O'Connor's proposed trade won't only enable the Nets to get rid of Simmons, but they would also be acquiring three players who could be integral parts of their rotation in the 2022-23 NBA season. By sending Simmons to Space City, the Nets would be getting a floor-spacing big man in Wood, a veteran sharpshooter in Gordon, and a player who would play multiple positions in Tate.

Christian Wood Boosts Nets' Frontcourt

Wood would be the biggest prize that the Nets would be receiving from trading Simmons to the Rockets. Though he's yet to earn his first All-Star recognition, he would be a massive upgrade over Andre Drummond and Nic Claxton at the Nets' starting center position. His potential arrival in Brooklyn would help them improve in terms of inside scoring, rebounding, protecting the rim, and floor spacing.

Sharing the floor with a center who can shoot the ball from beyond the arc would be beneficial for Irving and Durant as it would make it easier for them to penetrate the basket or kick the ball out when they are trapped by the opposing team's defense.

Why The Rockets Would Make The Trade

Trading Wood, Gordon, and Tate for Simmons would undeniably be a huge gamble for the Rockets. However, if he could regain his 100 percent health and confidence on the court, Simmons would be an interesting addition to the Rockets' young core. Simmons may have gone through plenty of ups and downs in the past year, but no one can deny his superstar potential.

Despite the previous controversies that he was involved in, Simmons is still a former Rookie of the Year, three-time NBA All-Star, All-NBA Third Team, and two-time All-Defensive First Team. At 25, he still fits the timeline of Rockets' franchise cornerstones Jalen Green and Kevin Porter Jr.
