NBA Rumors: Suns, Timberwolves Could Engage In A DeAndre Ayton For Karl-Anthony Towns Blockbuster

In the past months, rumors have been swirling around DeAndre Ayton and his future with the Phoenix Suns. The Suns are yet to make Ayton officially available on the trading block but with their failure to reach an agreement regarding a contract extension, there's a growing belief around the league that the former No. 1 pick would be moved before the 2022 NBA trade deadline.

However, the Suns aren't expected to trade Ayton just for the sake of getting him out of Phoenix. If they decide to trade him, it would only be in a deal that would help them become a more competitive team in the 2021-22 NBA season.

Karl-Anthony Towns To Suns

According to Kenneth Teape of NBA Analysis Network, one of the players that the Suns could target in the potential deal involving Ayton is All-Star center Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

"If the team wants to maximize their championship window, they should give a call to the Minnesota Timberwolves and try prying Karl-Anthony Towns away from them," Teape wrote. "Towns has repeatedly said he wants to help turn things around in Minnesota and play with one team his entire career. But, if the opportunity presented itself to play with a legitimate contender, it would be hard to turn down."

Friends In Phoenix

As of now, Towns hasn't shown a strong indication that he's no longer happy in Minnesota but if he decides to part ways with the Timberwolves, he would definitely consider the Suns as one of his next landing spots. Towns is a close friend of Devin Booker, who is currently the face of the Suns franchise.

Since entering the league in 2015, Towns and Booker have been dreaming of playing together in one team. Joining forces in Phoenix would give Towns and Booker a better chance of winning their first NBA championship title this season.

Massive Upgrade

Ayton may have managed to impress since he was drafted as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, but he's still not on the same level as Towns. Unlike Ayton, Towns is already considered an All-Star caliber player in the league. His potential arrival in Phoenix is expected to boost the Suns' performance on both ends of the floor, giving them a very reliable scoring option under the basket, a great rebounder, on-court facilitator, rim protector, and floor-spacer.

This season, Towns continues to post incredible numbers, averaging 23.6 points, 9.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 1.6 steals while shooting 50.3 percent from the field and 46.7 percent from beyond the arc, per ESPN.

Timberwolves' Angle

The proposed Towns-for-Ayton blockbuster trade would only be worth exploring for the Timberwolves if KAT demands a trade from the team. Instead of keeping an unhappy superstar to their roster, the Timberwolves would be acquiring an immediate replacement for him at the starting center position in Ayton. Unlike the Suns, the Timberwolves won't definitely think twice before giving Ayton a massive contract extension.

At 23, Ayton perfectly fits the timeline of the Timberwolves' backcourt duo of D'Angelo Russell and Anthony Edwards.

NBA Rumors: LA Lakers Could Trade Talen Horton-Tucker & Kendrick Nunn For Eric Gordon

The Los Angeles Lakers are surprisingly struggling in the 2021-22 NBA season. Despite the improvements that they made on their roster in the last offseason, the Lakers are still unable to consistently win games. As of now, they have only won six of their last 11 games, sitting in the No. 8 spot in the Western Conference with a 6-5 record.

The Lakers still have plenty of time to improve their game but if they want to have a better chance of winning the NBA championship, they should strongly consider finding more roster upgrades before the 2022 NBA trade deadline.

Eric Gordon To Lakers

One of the most realistic trade targets for the Lakers is veteran shooting guard Eric Gordon of the Houston Rockets. In a recent article, Kenneth Teape of NBA Analysis Network came up with a hypothetical blockbuster trade idea that would enable the Lakers to acquire Gordon from the Rockets before the 2022 NBA trade deadline.

In the proposed trade scenario, the Lakers would be sending a package that includes Talen Horton-Tucker and Kendrick Nunn to the Rockets in exchange for Gordon and a 2024 second-round pick.

Lakers' Three-Point Shooting

Gordon would be a welcome addition to the Lakers. His potential arrival in Los Angeles would help them improve their three-point shooting percentage where they currently rank No. 8 in the league, per NBA.com. The 32-year-old shooting guard would give the Purple and Gold an elite three-point shooter who has plenty of playoff experience.

This season, Gordon is averaging 13.8 points while shooting 51.4 percent from the field and 52.9 percent from beyond the arc, per ESPN. With his ability to excel in an off-ball capacity, he would be an ideal fit with the Lakers' core of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook.

A No-Brainer For The Rockets

Meanwhile, the proposed deal would make a lot of sense for the Rockets, especially now that they are in the initial phase of the rebuilding process. The Rockets would be actually hitting two birds with one stone in the suggested trade. Aside from successfully getting rid of Gordon and his massive salary, they would also be acquiring two young and promising talents who could be part of their long-term future.

Horton-Tucker and Nunn could join Jalen Green, Christian Wood, and Kevin Porter Jr. and form the core of the next title-contending team that the Rockets would try to build in the post-James Harden era.

Lakers Would Think Twice

While the proposed deal is a no-brainer for the Rockets, the Lakers would definitely think twice before pulling the trigger on such a trade scenario. Despite what Gordon could contribute on the offensive end of the floor, it remains a big question mark if the Lakers are willing to give him a promising player like THT for an aging sharpshooter.

Also, acquiring Gordon from the Rockets would affect the Lakers' salary cap flexibility in the next three years. Per Spotrac, the veteran shooting guard's four-year, $75 million contract is set to expire in the summer of 2024.

Sixers Rumors: Celtics Could Land Ben Simmons Without Sacrificing Jaylen Brown, Per 'Bleacher Report'

Philadelphia 76ers point guard Ben Simmons is one of the NBA superstars who are frequently mentioned in various trade speculations. Despite strong efforts from the Sixers to convince him to stay, the departure of Simmons from the City of Brotherly Love seems inevitable. In the past months, the former No. 1 pick has already been linked to several aspiring contenders that want to boost their chances of winning the 2022 NBA championship title.

One of the rumored suitors of Simmons on the trade market is the Boston Celtics.

Not Trading Jaylen Brown

A few days ago, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that the Celtics have expressed interest in acquiring Simmons from the Sixers before the 2022 NBA trade deadline. The Celtics are currently struggling in the 2021-22 NBA season and want to make improvements in their roster around the face of the franchise Jayson Tatum.

However, the Sixers' asking price, which is a package that includes an All-Star caliber player, for Simmons remains unchanged. According to Charania, the Sixers are demanding Jaylen Brown from the Celtics, but Boston has shown no indication that they are willing to trade their second-best player.

Acquiring Ben Simmons

In a recent article, Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report suggested a way on how the Celtics would be able to acquire Simmons without sacrificing Brown. To convince the Sixers to engage in a blockbuster, the Celtics could explore a "three-team framework" where they would be using Marcus Smart and Robert Williams III as their main trade chips.

"But a three-team framework, sending Smart and Williams and picks for another All-Star to reroute to Philly, would seem to be the one possible route for Boston to land Simmons without sacrificing Brown," Fischer wrote. "Philadelphia has similarly encouraged teams such as Minnesota and Indiana to acquire a player the Sixers value that would be equal to Simmons' impact on the team's title window, league sources told B/R."

Marcus Smart

It wouldn't be surprising if the Celtics decide to use Smart as a trade chip to land Simmons. He may be once considered as one of the most important players on the Celtics' roster, but plenty of things have changed in Boston. As Fischer noted, since last spring, Celtics' staffers were recognizing Smart's "displeasure" with the team after seeing his name surfacing on trade whispers.

Rumors surrounding Smart's future in Boston recently heated up after he criticized Tatum and Brown's game.

A No-Brainer

Sacrificing Smart to acquire Simmons should be a no-brainer for the Celtics. Simmons could fill the hole that Smart would be leaving on the Celtics, especially in terms of scoring, playmaking, and defending the perimeter. Last season, he averaged 14.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.9 assists, and 1.6 steals while shooting 55.7 percent from the field, per ESPN.

The potential arrival of Simmons would also help the Celtics solve their lack of passing in late games. If he improves his shooting and meshes well with Tatum and Brown, the Celtics could form a "Big Three" that could dominate the league for years.

The timeless, bold look has recently been popping up on social media, with a few celebrities flawlessly emulating Madonna's memorable royal-blue satin moment, Fashionista is reporting. But that's not the only Ford-era Gucci creation that's seen a revival as of late. Read more below.

Proving that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, Madonna's Gucci Fall 1995 look has re-emerged as a popular costume this Halloween. According to Fashionista, two different celebrities have replicated the vintage look for this year's holiday -- and the only spooky thing about it was how close they came to perfection.

While it's true that Madonna is unique and inimitable, both Real Housewives of New York star Leah McSweeney and Vogue's Liana Satenstein did their best to copy her unforgettable outfit.

Another iconic Ford-era Gucci look from around the same time was recreated last week by Gwyneth Paltrow for Gucci's Love Parade fashion show in Los Angeles, Vogue reported.

Photographed above in a Gucci dress at Madonna and Gucci's 2007 event "A Night to Benefit Raising Malawi," the Iron Man actress, 49, paid a special tribute to Ford by reviving the designer's signature red velvet pantsuit that she wore at the 1996 VMAS.

Paltrow kept true to the Fall 1996 look, pairing a ruby-colored two-piece by the current Gucci creative director, Alessandro Michele, with a pale-blue shirt. She even wore the same low chignon hairstyle.

"Beautiful tailoring never goes out of style. I loved wearing @alessandro_michele @gucci creation based on the one I borrowed in 1996 by the master @tomford," Paltrow wrote on Instagram after the event. See her post below.

According to Savoir Flair, it's not just nostalgia that has brought the vintage Gucci creations back into the spotlight. The Ford-era style has seen a resurgence as of late, with people re-embracing the American fashion designer's "slinky designs" and "fresh, rebellious" notion of "luxury."

"When we think 'Tom Ford for Gucci,' we think of rich jewel-toned palettes, mega furs, tight leather pants, sumptuous velvet suits, and sensual cut-outs placed right across the hip bones," writes the magazine. "His aesthetic was a tad tawdry, irreverent at its core, and instantly identifiable."

With today's Gucci style being so different from the label's vibe during Ford's tenure -- Michele's vision is "eclectic, androgynous, covered-up, and layered with dozens of accessories," Savoir Flair points out -- Ford's groundbreaking designs are being revisited by those who identify with his fashion.

Online Recognition

Fifteen years after Ford left Gucci, his designs for the Italian maison are still being celebrated, with Instagram fan accounts such as TomFordForGucci giving them the online recognition they deserve.

Run by Gucci client advisor Justin Friedman, who works under Michele, the Instagram page posts freely available runway images and YouTube clips of the famed designer's memorable creations.

According to Friedman, it was Georgina Grenville's white dress with the hip cut-out from the Fall 1996 collection, shown below, that ignited his love for Ford's Gucci style.

"It left an indelible mark. I'd never seen a dress like that before. I had no concept of who Tom Ford was," he said in a 2020 interview with Vogue. "I had no real concept of what he meant to the fashion world at that moment, but that dress can't even explain the lasting impression it left."

'Relevant To Modern Audiences'

As Friedman pointed out, what's truly compelling about Ford's designs for Gucci is their suggestive nature and readiness to tease and provoke -- something that's making them increasingly popular today. Speaking about his favorite campaigns, the Spring 1997 and Fall 1997, Friedman says "there was something lurid about them."

"The Spring 1997 campaign had Georgina Grenville and Jason Fedele in the desert. They were all in dark clothes and all of those draped, velvet dresses and the slinky drainpipe pants. It was this very specific '90s thing, where it's 'I'm turned on by you but I'm angry about it,'" he told Vogue.

According to Friedman, Ford's influence continues to be mirrored in current Gucci designs.

"Every now and then, a detail will pop up from a season from when Tom was there. It was a whole different thing but the energy behind it is similar," he said. "It is a good feeling to be working for a house that Tom Ford is responsible for making relevant to modern audiences."

Extremely Rare Cotton Candy Lobster Caught In Maine

Most lobsters have brownish shell color, but they come in all shapes and sizes.

The chance of finding a blue lobster is one in two million, while finding a yellow lobster is a one in 30 million chance, according to USA Today.

The state of Maine is known for its lobsters, but most lobsterman never get a chance to even encounter a cotton candy lobster, let alone catch one.

But Bill Coppersmith made the catch of his lifetime on Friday in Maine's Casco Bay, where he caught a blue-colored lobster.

Haddie

Coppersmith told Fox News that he named the rare cotton candy lobster Haddie, after his granddaughter.

Coppersmith has been fishing for 40 years, and this was the first time for him to find an ultra-rare creature like Haddie. Still, he has no intention of selling her.

NEWS CENTER Maine published on YouTube a video clip of the lobsterman talking about the rare catch and stressing that he wants to preserve it.

"Look how beautiful that lobster is," Coppersmith says in the video, which can be viewed below.

'Mother Nature's True Artistry'

As soon as he caught Haddie, Coppersmith texted his boss Mark Murrell, the CEO of Get Maine Lobster.

Murrell was in awe, telling Fox News that Haddie "is the first cotton candy we have discovered."

"Finding one like this is a true gift. It shows Mother Nature's true artistry," Murrell said.

"Haddie is hanging out in her tank at Get Maine Lobster, the number one direct-to-consumer seafood company based in Portland, Maine," Murrell continued, noting that he is seeking a permanent home for Haddie.

What Will Happen To Haddie?

Murrell explained to the outlet that Haddie will most certainly not be sold or cooked.

Odell Beckham Jr. was never happy with the Cleveland Browns, and the Cleveland Browns never intended Odell Beckham Jr. to succeed.

Their marriage was a ticking bomb from the very second he landed at Ohio and, after a couple of seasons of underperformance, injuries, and backstage drama, it has finally come to an end.

The Browns no longer have to deal with the pressure of getting Beckham involved and he doesn't have to pretend to be comfortable with Baker Mayfield either ignoring him or overthrowing him.

OBJ A Free Agent

So, now that Odell Beckham Jr. has finally been released by the Browns, the superstar wideout also managed to go unclaimed in waivers, thus becoming an unrestricted free agent.

That's unsurprising considering that he was still owed north of $7 million for this season and that, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, he was prepared to wreak havoc if he wasn't claimed by a contender:

"Beckham wants to spend the rest of this season with a playoff contender and in a winning environment, where he believes he would be happy and productive. If a team that does not fit this criteria claims Beckham and the $7.25 million remaining on his contract, there could be potential issues for that team, according to a source, although it is unclear exactly what those issues would be," reported Schefter.

Pursuit Of OBJ

Beckham is expected to draw plenty of interest from teams looking to make a playoff push.

The New Orleans Saints would love to have him back in Louisiana, especially with Michael Thomas out of the picture. The Seattle Seahawks were also reportedly interested in acquiring his services, as coach Pete Carroll suggested.

Also, the San Francisco 49ers were reportedly looking forward to adding another weapon next to Deebo Samuel now that Brandon Aiyuk has been MIA for most of the season.

Beckham Interested In Packers

Even so, it seems like the talented wideout would rather join forces with Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, according to Jordan Schultz.

"Breaking: Odell Beckham, Jr. has prioritized the #Packers as his No. 1 destination should he clear waivers, per sources," tweeted Schultz.

It's been a while since the Packers had a top-notch receivers corps and adding a player like OBJ could convince Rodgers to stay for another season.

Adding Beckham Jr to an offense already featuring Davante Adams and Aaron Jones would propel the Packers to instant Super Bowl contention.

Vaccination Fiasco

Even so, the Packers have a lot on their plate right now with Aaron Rodgers' controversial vaccination situation.

Rodgers lied to the media about being "immunized" and faced a lot of criticism for his recent comments. Notably, he had to go back to The Pat McAfee Show to apologize and take responsibility for his words:

"I just want to start off the show acknowledging that I made some comments that people might have felt were misleading," Rodgers said, as quoted by NFL.com. "To anybody who felt misled by those comments, I take full responsibility for those comments. Free Agent

It's not too often that a player like Odell Beckham Jr. becomes available in the middle of the season.

And now that no team will be responsible for the $7.25 million left in his contract for the remainder of the season, contenders will line up to try and make a run at him.

Playoff-bound teams like the Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints, San Francisco 49ers, and even Kansas City Chiefs were reportedly interested in acquiring his services once he cleared waivers.

While unpredictable and inconsistent, they still have a shot to catch the Dallas Cowboys at the top of the NFC East.

Nick Sirianni's team is sitting at a 3-6 record but still has six divisional clashes in their schedule and could make a late push for a playoff berth.

Needless to say, lining up Odell Beckham Jr. opposite DeVonta Smith would make life quite easier for Jalen Hurts and the Eagles' inconsistent offense.

OBJ Likely To Sign With Packers

Sadly, though, a recent report suggests that the former Giants star has already made up his mind and has the Green Bay Packers at the top of his list of destinations:

Paul Gosar Slammed For Posting Anime Video Of Him Killing AOC

Republican Rep. Paul Gosar took to Twitter on Sunday to share a bizarre and disturbing video.

The 90-second clip, based on Hajime Isayama's anime Attack on Titan, depicts Gosar attacking prominent Democrats, including President Joe Biden and New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

In one scene, Gosar jumps in the air and stabs Ocasio-Cortez's character in the face. Another scene shows the Republican jumping at Biden with two swords. Footage of immigrants at the southern border is also seen in the video.

Fierce Backlash

Predictably, Gosar's actions sparked backlash from Democrats, media figures, liberal activists, and even some Republicans.

As Newsweek reported, Democratic Rep. Ted Lieu of California described the congressman's behavior as "sick."

"In any workplace in America if a coworker made an anime video killing another coworker that person would be fired," Lieu said.

"This man needs to be expelled from Congress. Period," former Ohio State Senator Nina Turner stated.

"Paul Gosar has threatened the life of AOC. He needs to be arrested," actress Rosanna Arquette said.

Others Join In

Others were quick to join in, with executive director at the Democratic Coalition Scott Dworkin tweeting that "Paul Gosar needs to be banned from Twitter permanently. And arrested."

Former Republican Illinois congressman Joe Walsh, meanwhile, accused Gosar of inciting violence.

"This is way beyond the pale. This is just pure incitement. He must be censured. He should not run again. He needs help. He's f***** nuts. But Republicans won't do a damn thing to him," he said.

The clip has been removed from Gosar's Twitter page, while he responded to critics with a meme.

White House, Pelosi Respond

As reported by Reuters, the White House on Tuesday condemned Gosar's behavior.

"This should not be happening, and we should be condemning it," White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre said in a statement.

Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi argued that both the U.S. Congress and law enforcement need to investigate Gosar.

"Threats of violence against Members of Congress and the President of the United States must not be tolerated," Pelosi stressed.

Ocasio-Cortez described Gosar as a "creepy member I work with," and noted she doesn't expect Republican House leaders to punish him in any way.

Far-Right Links

Gosar, who clearly doesn't shy way from controversy, is considered a far-right politician.

This summer, he was listed as attending a fundraiser with white nationalist Nick Fuentes.

Fuentes has been banned from all major social media platforms, but maintains a large fan base.

He is a Holocaust denier. who once downplayed the number of Jews killed in the Holocaust and compared those who were killed in Nazi gas chambers to cookies baking in an oven.

Fuentes has also made extremely bigoted remarks against Muslims, and said that segregation "was better" for Black people.

The United States is more polarized than ever. Liberals and conservatives rarely agree on anything, but virtually all polls show that the vast majority of Americans believe the rich should pay their fair share of taxes.

Billionaires pay barely any income tax, however, so the public is demanding that lawmakers do something about this. But as the U.S. Congress debated how much the rich should be taxed, billionaire and Tesla CEO Elon Musk came up with an interesting idea.

Twitter Poll

On Saturday, as CNBC reported, Musk -- who is the richest man in the world -- addressed the need to tax the wealthy on Twitter.

The billionaire posted a poll, vowing to abide by the results.

"Much is made lately of unrealized gains being a means of tax avoidance, so I propose selling 10% of my Tesla stock. Do you support this?" he asked his followers, who were able to vote "Yes" or "No."

As it turns out, 57 percent of them think he should sell 10 percent of his stock in the electric vehicle company.

Poll Results

As The Verge reported, more than 3.5 million people voted in the poll.

Musk has still not commented on the results of the poll. Instead, he attacked Democratic Sen. Ron Wyden, who has been calling for new taxes on the top one percent.

"Whether or not the world's wealthiest man pays any taxes at all shouldn't depend on the results of a Twitter poll. It's time for the Billionaires Income Tax," Wyden wrote in a tweet.

"Why does ur pp look like u just came?" Musk replied, referring to the senator's profile picture.

Tesla Stock Slides

The Twitter poll caused Tesla shares to drop, closing down nearly 5 percent on Monday.

"Without dismissing execution risk, Tesla is getting to a position where it can balance affordability and speed, goals which are as important as profitability in Elon Musk's vision," analyst Philippe Houchois explained.

"Tesla looks set to gain share from large OEMs [original equipment manufacturers], potentially claiming a disproportionate share of the industry profit pool in the coming 3-5 years as legacies enter the margin dilutive EV transition phase," he noted.

Taxing The Rich

But just how popular is taxing the rich?

In a Vox and Data for Progress poll conducted in October, 71 percent of voters said they support raising taxes on the wealthiest two percent of Americans to pay for President Joe Biden's Build Back Better plan.

Fifty percent of Republicans and 86 percent of Democrats in the survey agreed that the wealthiest Americans need to be taxed to pay for the plan. The same poll found that 65 percent of Americans overall support tax increases on corporations and capital gains.

The Beginning

Born Rebecca Quin, she began her wrestling career all the way back in 2002 in Ireland under the name Rebecca Knox, working primarily as a singles competitor and also sometimes teaming with her brother. She got her first big break in 2005 with Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling under their partner promotion SuperGirls Wrestling and even became the promotions inaugural Woman's Champion in June 2005. Finally on June 26th, 2014 she debuted on an episode of NXT against Summer Rae, she would go on to win the match. October of that year marked the first big development in her career as she turned heel for the first time. Despite all her success that would come later in her career she never held the NXT Women's Championship.

Main Roster Debut and "The Man"

Lynch made her main roster debut on July 13th, 2015 teaming with Paige and Charlotte Flair as the "Submission Sorority" (a name that later had to be changed due to it being linked to NSFW content). She saw great success early on, as she was the first woman drafted to Smackdown in the 2016 WWE Draft and became the inaugural Smackdown Women's Champion. Her gimmick transition into "The Man" started in late 2018 as she went on a lengthy winning streak that would eventually lead to her second heel turn in the company and a second Smackdown Woman's title reign.

Post Pregnancy Return and Current Fued

Becky Lynch returned in August of 2021 after being off of WWE television for fifteen months. Redebuting as a heel she defeated Bianca Belair at Summerslam to win yet another Smackdown Women's Championship.

In the 2021 WWE Draft, Becky Lynch was drafted to Monday Night Raw. On October 22nd, 2021, things would come to a head following events related to her and Charlotte Flair's title exchange. It is rumored that Flair had to be legitimately escorted out of the building by security.

The dust up with Flair cemented Lynch's name as one to watch within the WWE. In the future, fans will be keeping an eye out for a potential re-match with Bianca Belair and a ne match up with Shotzi Blackheart.

Fans of the supernatural tuning into the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday, November 8, enjoyed an episode after their own hearts when Salma Hayek came on. The 55-year-old Hollywood star, who is married to billionaire French businessman François-Henri Pinault, 59, made some truly incredible revelations about the couple's London home, disclosing it was "haunted."

Present in the audience, her daughter Valentina, 14, backed up her mom's story, confirming that she had seen the ghosts -- that's right, there's more than one!

The Eternals actress went on to detail what she's done to get rid of the unwanted ghosts, Hola! is reporting.

'Haunted House'

Building on the gripping plot of her upcoming House of Gucci movie, which she discussed on the show, Salma divulged the no less intriguing story of her "haunted" house. When asked by Ellen what was the state of the place, she replied it was "not like before, definitely," indicating her methods worked at least to some extent.

The Mexican actress detailed some of the strange phenomena that went on in the house, saying "the piano played by itself" and "the doors and the windows opened and closed." She also mentioned that "lights go on and off."

"I didn't see these," Salma confessed. However, she noted that the odd occurrences were witnessed by some of her staff members.

Multiple Ghosts

Salma revealed there were multiple spiritual entities inhabiting her London home. The award-winning actress learned their number after enlisting the help of a medium.

"He found like twenty [ghosts]," the Desperado star told Ellen.

She also gave a bit of insight into who some of these spirits were, detailing that her house was haunted by an old lady, a child, and a nun. According to the expert she brought in, the nun was a benevolent spirit and was very much attached to the house, refusing to leave it.

Staff Won't Work There

Salma noted that the spectral activity in the home had made the members of the staff feel uneasy, with one particular employee being reluctant to set foot in the house. The Hollywood A-lister said he "didn't want to work there anymore" and "wouldn't go to the third floor."

"I think he was drunk," Salma remarked jokingly, although she later admitted seeing the ghosts herself.

Her daughter Valentina joined in from the audience to share her own experience.

"I've seen the actual thing," said the teenager, noting she witnessed ghost activity "twice."

Expert Help

To put her family and staff at ease, Salma hired a medium to help guide the spirits.

"I said, look, I'm going to bring somebody, even if it's not true, at least they might, psychologically think it's over," she told Ellen.

Although she welcomed the assistance, the actress was adamant about not using any dark magic or rituals: "No chicken legs, no chicken heads, don't bring some dead animal in my house."

As for the actual procedure, the actress explained the medium saged her home, an effort that had no effect on the ghost of the nun. Despite requests from Salma's house manager that the spirit be removed, the medium said she "was here longer than you and she's not telling me to get rid of you!"

"She has good vibes! She stays!" he added.

Travis Scott Tells Crowd To 'F*ck Up' Fan In Viral Video

At least eight people were killed and dozens injured at rapper Travis Scott's concert last week at the Texas Astroworld festival.

Scott ended his show around 20 minutes ahead of advertised time, which left many wondering why he refused to end it sooner and appeared to incite the crowd and cause a riot.

Video footage from what is one of the deadliest concerts in history shows just how chaotic the situation got quickly. But this is nothing new for Scott, whose concerts have a history of rowdiness.

2015 Incident

With the Texas Astroworld festival tragedy in the news, a video clip of Scott's 2015 concert at Openair Frauenfeld in Switzerland has gone viral on various social media platforms, including Twitter.

As reported by The New York Post, the video -- which can be viewed below -- shows Scott telling a crowd to physically assault one of the concert goers.

As the clip shows, the controversial musician leaped into the crowd, and singled out one individual in the audience, telling others to "f*ck" that person up.

The video shows Travis accusing a fan of trying to "take my shoe."

"Come here, b*tch," the rapper shouts at the fan, before telling other members of the audience to go after them.

"Get that motherf*cker, get him" Scott says.

F*ck him up!" Scott shouts in the clip, which also appears to show several people striking the fan.

"F*ck his ass up!" Scott shouts again in the clip, repeatedly insulting the fan, as he walks to a security guard. At the end of the clip, Scott throws the microphone and puts his shoe back on.

Social Media Reactions

Social media users were quick to point out that Scott has a history of highly problematic behavior at concerts.

"He literally stopped a whole ass concert because someone took a SHOE. He can stop a concert when people are being STOMPED and SUFFOCATED to DEATH," one social media user wrote.

"Stop blindly following celebrities, they don't care about you," they added.

"That man literally dived into the crowd for a dirty shoe and told the crowd to f–k a boy up for having the shoe. Like y'all don't see the issue????" another person added.

Travis Scott's Response

In response to the Astroworld tragedy, Scott released a lengthy statement via Instagram.

According to People, Scott said "my fans really mean the world to me, and I always want to leave them with a positive experience."

"Any time I can make out anything that's going on, I'd stop the show and help them get the help they need, you know? I could never imagine this situation," the rapper continued, noting that he is "working right now to identify the families to assist them through this tough time."

NBA Rumors: Hawks Could Get Karl-Anthony Towns For Three Players & Four Picks

After playing in the Eastern Conference Finals last season, All-Star point guard Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks are aiming to reach a higher level next year. Unfortunately, the Hawks are currently not playing like a team that is eyeing to fully dominate the Eastern Conference and capture the Larry O'Brien Trophy in the 2021-22 NBA season.

So far, the Hawks are on a four-game losing streak, sitting in the No. 12 spot in the Eastern Conference with a 4-7 record. The Hawks still have plenty of time to improve their game but if they are serious about achieving their main goal, some people believe that they should add more star power around Young before the 2022 NBA trade deadline.

Towns To Atlanta

According to Lee Tran of Fadeaway World, one of the dream trade targets for the Hawks is All-Star center Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Timberwolves may not have shown any sign that they are planning to trade Towns, but rumors have been continuously swirling around the face of the franchise since the 2021 NBA offseason.

If they won't show him a clear path to title contention this season, there are speculations that Towns may consider following in the footsteps of other superstars and demand a trade from the Timberwolves.

Proposed Trade Package

Bringing in a player of Towns' caliber to Atlanta would certainly require the Hawks to pay the king's ransom. In his article, Tran suggested a way on how the Hawks would be able to convince the Timberwolves to send KAT to The Big Peach. In the proposed trade scenario, the Hawks would be offering a package that includes Clint Capela, Cam Reddish, Kevin Huerter, two 2022 first-round picks, a 2023 first-round pick, and a 2023 second-round pick to the Timberwolves in exchange for Towns.

Pair Trae Young With An All-Star

Trading all those assets for Towns should be a no-brainer for the Hawks, especially if they want to become a more competitive team in the 2021-22 NBA season. The proposed blockbuster deal would enable the Hawks to pair Young with another All-Star. At 25, there's no doubt that Towns is already one of the most dominant big men in the league.

This season, he's averaging 23.6 points, 9.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 1.6 steals while shooting 50.3 percent from the field and 46.7 percent from beyond the arc, per ESPN.

Timberwolves' Motives

The suggested deal with the Hawks would only make sense for the Timberwolves if Towns is no longer interested in being the face of the franchise. By sending him to Atlanta, the Hawks would be acquiring an immediate replacement for him at the starting center position in Capela, two young and talented wingmen in Reddish and Huerter, and future draft assets.

Capela may not be as good as Towns, but he's also a dominant force under the basket. Meanwhile, with his impressive performance earlier this season, Reddish could battle for a spot in the Timberwolves' starting lineup.

Josh Hawley's Masculinity Remarks Spark Controversy

Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley's speech at last week's National Conservatism Conference is continuing to generate controversy, mostly because the Republican's remarks centered on masculinity.

Speaking before a crowd of conservative activists, Hawley argued that men in the United States have been convinced by society -- especially the American left, as he put it -- that they are "the problem."

In response to this, he posited, men have turned to escapism and withdrawn from society, indulging in pornography and video games, instead of being upstanding citizens and raising families.

What Hawley Said

Here's what Hawley said, as quoted in The Daily Beast.

"Can we be surprised that after years of being told that they are the problem, that their manhood is the problem, more and more men are withdrawing into the enclave of idleness and pornography and video games?"

In an interview with Axios, Hawley doubled down on his claims, accusing the American left of telling men, "You're part of the problem. ... Your masculinity is inherently problematic."

"As conservatives, we've got to call men back to responsibility," he added.

Backlash Ensues

But many believe that Hawley's remarks were highly problematic.

The Daily Beast's Tim Teeman argued in a lengthy piece that the senator is nothing but a demagogue seeking to pander to his "far-right" base by slamming what he perceives to be some sort of an attack on the very concept of masculinity.

According to Teeman, Hawley lied to the audience and came up with a "non-thesis made up of absurd claims" in order to raise his own profile and position himself as the leader of the Republican Party.

'Rolling Stone' Blasts Hawley

Rolling Stone's Ryan Bort also took aim at Hawley in a column, describing him as a "sad man."

Hawley's claims that Democrats and leftists are opposed to any form of masculinity and assertiveness are completely baseless, Bort wrote, claiming that the senator has a "history of idolizing masculinity."

"The lack of substance behind Hawley's newfound obsession with men isn't surprising. There isn't much substance behind any of the Republican Party's cultural appeals to the suburban and rural voters they're trying to convince that the Democrats want to destroy America," the columnist concluded.

Presidential Ambitions

Hawley rose to national prominence after endorsing former President Donald Trump's attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election, and it has been speculated that he is contemplating running for president in 2024.

But would Hawley stand a chance? According to an analysis from FiveThirtyEight, no Republican would be able to beat Trump, should he run for a third time.

In fact, polls show that the vast majority of Republican voters want Trump to run for president again and would back him over any other candidate.

Sixers Rumors: Ben Simmons Wants To Play For Celtics, Per 'Boston Globe'

Philadelphia 76ers point guard Ben Simmons recently had a new suitor on the trade market - the Boston Celtics. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Celtics have engaged in trade conversation with the Sixers and expressed interest in acquiring Simmons. As of now, Charania revealed that talks between the Celtics and the Sixers have been "fluid."

However, if the Celtics are serious about acquiring the former No. 1 pick before the 2022 NBA trade deadline, Charania said that they should be ready to give up Jaylen Brown.

Boston Celtics

In his latest piece, Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe also gave an update on the rumors linking Simmons to the Celtics. Though the trade negotiation between the two teams is yet to reach a serious level, a league source who spoke to Washburn revealed that Simmons is interested in reuniting and playing for Coach Ime Udoka in Boston.

"Can Udoka, who coached Simmons in Philadelphia as an assistant, get the best out of the former No. 1 overall pick? Yes. Would Simmons be interested in coming to Boston? Yes, according to a league source," Washburn wrote, as quoted by Barstool Sports.

Simmons' Celtics Interest

Some people are definitely wondering why Simmons would be interested in playing for the Celtics. A trade to Boston may get Simmons out of the shadow of Joel Embiid but with the emergence of Jayson Tatum on the Celtics, he would also need to accept the role as the team's No. 2 guy. However, like the Sixers, the Celtics would also give Simmons a realistic chance of contending for his first NBA championship title this season.

Also, starting a new journey with Udoka in Boston could help Simmons regain confidence and return to the right path to becoming a legitimate superstar in the league.

On-Court Impact For Celitcs

Simmons would be an intriguing acquisition for the Celtics. Despite his shooting woes, he would still provide a huge impact on both ends of the floor. He would give the Celtics a very reliable scoring option behind Tatum, as well as a great rebounder, playmaker, and lockdown defender.

Last season, Simmons averaged 14.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.9 assists, and 1.6 steals while shooting 55.7 percent from the field, per ESPN. The potential arrival of Simmons is expected to address the Celtics' lack of passing in late games which is being blamed for their struggle to consistently win games this season.

Unlikely Trade

Unfortunately, though Simmons and the Celtics have a mutual interest in working together in the 2021-22 NBA season, Washburn revealed that Celtics president of basketball operations Brad Stevens is highly unlikely to consider trading Brown for the Sixers' disgruntled star. Brown is considered the Celtics' second-best player and as of now, he's clearly a better All-Star than Simmons.

"Simmons should only be a consideration at the right price, and that price likely will never be to Stevens' satisfaction as long as Morey is willing to wait months — or even years — to make a deal and he continues to request All-Star players in return for someone whose stock is at an all-time low," Washburn wrote.

NFL Rumors: Eagles Could Find Jalen Hurt's Replacement In The Draft

No one had a clue as to what to expect from the Philadelphia Eagles this season.

Nick Sirianni was going to take over as coach, Jalen Hurts was going to have his first full season as a starter, and DeVonta Smith could either become a young star or a massive bust.

Nine weeks of the NFL season have gone by and we still can't figure the Eagles out, and it seems like neither can them, as the team doesn't have a clear direction or philosophy.

Eagles Don't Trust Hurts

Hurts, while not exactly impressive, hasn't been bad for the Eagles either.

Per ProFootballReference, he's thrown for 1,981 yards while completing 61.5% of his attempts (7.3 yards per attempt) and logging 11 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. He's added 83 rushes for 494 yards and 5 scores.

All things considered and looking at Sirianni's questionable play-calling and the Eagles' lack of weapons, you could say that Hurts has had a solid sophomore year.

Then again, the Eagles don't seem to be too convinced about him as a franchise quarterback.

Deshaun Watson Trade Attempt

Even before the start of the season, the Eagles were reportedly trying to acquire Deshaun Watson in a trade, according to The Athletic.

"In addition to the Dolphins, the Texans have had recent discussions with the Carolina Panthers and Philadelphia Eagles, according to sources. However, the seriousness of those discussions — ranging from a casual conversation to actual trade negotiations — hasn't been disclosed," read the report.

Those trade talks eventually stalled as the Texans continued to drive Watson's price up, but it tells you just enough about how the organization feels about their young quarterback.

Philly Could Get A Franchise QB

So, with Deshaun Watson out of the picture and the Eagles reportedly not convinced with Jalen Hurts under center, ESPN's Todd McShay claims that they could target Malik Willis out of Liberty as their new franchise QB in the upcoming NFL Draft:

"I wouldn't say he's the biggest reason why the Eagles are struggling, but I don't think he's the answer moving forward if you're trying to build a championship roster and trying to make a legitimate run at the Super Bowl. So, if they're in position to get Malik Willis, who has emerged as the No. 1 clear-cut quarterback in this year's class coming out of Liberty, I think they have to make that pick," said Willis.

All-In On Willis

McShay added that the Auburn transfer is the best QB prospect in the nation right now and that that the Eagles should even try to move up in the Draft to get him:

"He's a bigger, mobile version. You know, both guys, Hurts and Willis, have mobility, but I think (Willis) creates more and he's more dynamic throwing the ball on the run and throwing the ball down the field than Hurts has been in his first couple of years with the Eagles… I think they go quarterback if they have the opportunity to take Willis with that first pick, whatever that pick, number-wise, ends up being. Maybe they use one of their other first-round picks, they've got three in the first round coming up in 2022, to move up and go get Willis to make sure they can get ahead of some other teams that might have interest," McShay concluded.

Hurts still has a handful of games to prove that he's got what it takes to lead the franchise going forward. But if you're an Eagles fan, you must be thrilled about having options in the case it doesn't work out.
