Check out this quick breakdown of the matchup from MMA Junkie analyst Dan Tom.
Nallo (14-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC) looks to bounce back from a loss to Jai Herbert in his UFC debut. Nallo earned a UFC contract by stopping Samuel Silva on Dana White's Contender Series last September.
Landwehr (18-8 MMA, 5-6 UFC) has hit a rough stretch of three straight stoppage losses to DooHo Choi, Morgan Charriere and Cub Swanson. His last win was a first-round finish of Jamall Emmers in March 2024.
Kicking off the main card in proper Joe Silva-fashion is a lightweight action fight between Mandel Nallo and Nate Landwehr.
Despite Nallo falling short in his UFC debut, I suspect that this could be a spot for the Canadian to show off his skills.
Don't get me wrong: I've been a big fan of Landwehr since his days on the M-1 circuit, but his entertaining style has not aged gracefully.
Add in the fact that Landwehr is moving up a division after sustaining three consecutive stoppage losses at 38 years old, and I can't help but back the deceptively fresher Nallo to find a finish by the end of Round 2.
The oddsmakers and the public favor the Canadian fighter, listing Nallo -290 and Landwehr +225 via FanDuel.
As the main card opener, Nallo and Landwehr are expected to walk to the cage at approximately 8:10 p.m. ET. The fight streams live on Paramount+ .
