<p>Several mushroom products have been recalled due to Listeria risk.</p>

<p>The recall affects specific products sold in Michigan, Ohio and New York, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).</p>
<p>Wiet Peeters Farm Products recalled its Aunt Mid's Fresh Sliced Mushrooms 227g , Peeters Mushroom Farm Cremini Sliced 227g and Peeters Mushroom Farm Thick Slice Mushroom 10lb cardboard on July 10, according to the FDA.</p>
<p>The recall came after the Canadian Food Inspection Agency revealed the presence of Listeria monocytogene in the fresh sliced mushrooms containers. The other products were "manufactured on the same line," per the FDA.</p>

<p>The three products were distributed in Michigan and Ohio.</p>
<p>The fresh sliced mushrooms that were recalled are packaged in a 227g flat blue plastic wrapping and have the number code UPC 0 33383 676005. The products also have a best by date of July 4.</p>
<p>The other mushroom products can be identified similarly. The cremini products come in a 227g flat black plastic package with the code UPC 0 68414 96960 and a best before date of July 4. And lastly, the thick slice mushrooms come in a 10lb cardboard box labeled with Peeters Mushroom Farm.</p>
<p>LLK Trading Inc. also recalled its mushroom products due to potential contamination of Listeria monocytogenes, according to the FDA. The company recalled its Needle Mushrooms on July 11 after the FDA revealed the presence of the bacteria during a sample. The product is no longer being sold while an active investigation occurs.</p>
<p>The product was distributed to Bally Produce Corp. in Maspeth, N.Y. and sold to Datang Supermarket Inc, per the FDA.</p>
<p>The needle mushrooms come in a 200g package with clear plastic.</p>
<p>No illnesses have been reported due to both recalls.</p>

<p>Those who purchased any of the products above are advised to return the products to their place of purchase for a full refund.</p>
<p>According to Mayo Clinic, listeria inflection is caused by bacteria that can spread through several different foods. Symptoms include diarrhea, upset stomach, fever and chills and flu-like symptoms. The infection can also cause serious medical problems.</p>

<p>On June 9, Alma Pak International LLC announced a voluntary recall of 400 boxes of its organic blueberries due to the presence of Listeria monocytogenes.</p>
<p>The FDA elevated the recall on July 1, to a Class I recall — the highest, most serious recall classification.</p>
