The body of an award-winning chef has been recovered after she drowned in an Oregon river following an accident at the weekend. Naomi Pomeroy, 49, died on Saturday evening after the group she was inner tubing with got caught on a branch in the water, the sheriff's office said. Pomeroy, who had not been wearing a life jacket at the time, was pulled under the water and trapped by a paddle board leash attached to her, Captain Chris Duffitt said.
